Windeeker copy edit

Hello jcgoble3. Dom497 requested a GOCE copy edit of Windseeker, and I'm about to start work on it. He said that if I needed "urgent" replies to questions then the best bet would be to ask you. I probably will have questions, but would prefer to ask them and receive answers on the article's talk page. Would you keep an eye on it, please? By the way, I won't consider any questions urgent. If you're having a day off ... well, I can wait a day. We can work in a timescale we're all comfortable with. Best regards, --Stfg (talk) 10:13, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Sure, no problem. The article and, by extension, the talk page are on my watchlist, which I usually check several times a day (I don't work, so most of my time is spent on the Internet). I'll be happy to answer any questions. jcgoble3 (talk) 21:14, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll keep it on my watchlist at least for a few weeks, so will be able to pick up anything you raise on the talk page. --Stfg (talk) 22:35, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm back...for now!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I'll be more active for the next few weeks so if you need help with the WindSeeker copy-edit just ask!--Dom497 (talk) 21:31, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

OK! No problemo. I'll get started on it as soon as I can and maybe even do a few other things if I can from the copy-edit review. :) --Dom497 (talk) 22:36, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
OH COME ON!!! Just as I update the picture, I read that there is a spelling issue in the same pic. THANK GOD THERE'S PHOTOSHOP IN OUR WORLD!!!!--Dom497 (talk) 22:40, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Just wanted to say thanks for being able to make all the changes to the WindSeeker article over the last few weeks! To be honest, I never really thought you would want to do all the editing but it looks like I have been proven wrong! Dom497 (talk) 03:27, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Why, thank you! I'm slowly working through it at a WikiSloth's pace. I'm hoping to do the source review tomorrow. Also, thanks to you for everything you've done on the article as well. jcgoble3 (talk) 03:35, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Six Flags in 2012 template deletion

I'm just going by what it says on this page in the third step about notifying users. It says out of politeness to notify others in the project or others that have contributed to the template. --Astros4477 (talk) 03:39, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Except that I am neither a contributor to this template nor a member of a related project (and in the latter case, the notification is best placed on the talk page of the WikiProject itself instead of individual users'). My only connection to this template is having !voted to delete two similar templates. jcgoble3 (talk) 03:47, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Re: Vandalism

My bad jcgoble, I changed the info to the page American and Canadian football as a proof to a friend about the reliability of wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.102.172.106 (talk) 20:08, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

While I understand, that's still not an excuse because it's still against policy. You'd be better off looking for other people's vandalism and pointing it out to him. If you must demonstrate yourself, hit "Preview" instead of "Save page", or at the absolute minimum, revert your own edit. Your point could have been made via any of those methods. jcgoble3 (talk) 22:31, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
