Request reason:

Dear Materialscientist - My little brother and I invented the new word Brending this past March 2011. If you use this word in your search you will see my scope of work. When I first started brending for Bob-Boyd I got hit with a spam notice but today I see what I posted all over your pages for the company that I posted for first? Why do you think that I am a spammer? I promised Steve Jobs that I would pick up where he left off and that is what I will do. Can you help me move AI forward? I don't earn any income for doing this yet but my plan is do so with your help. It's not fair that you and I bring new products and services to the world and not be compensated. Don't you agree? <Personally identifying information redacted> Please call me or help me set up the pages properly and all of my work on this site since I opened jdzarlino a LONG time ago. <Personally identifying information redacted> 05:15, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Bob Boyd (MKS), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Bob Boyd (MKS) is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Bob Boyd (MKS), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. November 2009[edit]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Monetization. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 16:19, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add your own commentary to Wikipedia articles as you have done on November 7. Additionally, please become familiar with WP:DAYS the guideline that governs content of date articles. If you have any questions, please ask. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 16:40, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Delimiting languages requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Your addition to John Deere has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Hello, JD Zarlino! At my talk page you asked "What do you know about Kiwanis?" I actually know quite a bit about Kiwanis, being president of my club for the second time, and having been a Kiwanis member for 22 years. Why do you ask? Does it have to do with the link you added, and I removed, at the Kiwanis page? I'd be glad to leave it in if I could see any point to it. But the page you linked to - the "discover Kiwanis" page - doesn't seem to have anything to do with the phrase "build better communities" that you linked it to. Could you explain why you felt that page was appropriate to link to that phrase? If you just want the "Discover Kiwanis" page to be linked somewhere in the article, maybe we can think of a more logical place for it. Let's talk about it. Thanks - Melanie

Hello again! You asked at my talk page "Why did you remove my link again?" Actually "your link" is still there. But I see that it has been converted to a footnote, instead of an external link as you had it. Wikipedia generally prefers that external (non-Wikipedia) pages be footnoted, rather than directly linked in the body of the article. See Wikipedia:External links. And it wasn't me that converted it to a footnote - it was another editor. You can always tell who did what by clicking on the "history" button at the top of the page.
It's good to know that the female membership has increased to 26%. Do you have a source for that? I couldn't find it at the KI website. --MelanieN (talk) 22:42, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CitationHello, I am responding to your request at the editor assistance board. If you have coined a new word that has only been used in your own work, I suggest you post the addition you would like to make to whatever article, along with the source, so that other editors can evaluate it. The concern is that some editors use Wikipedia as a means to promote their ideas. If other editors decide that your sources are reliable and that your changes are relevant, then they or you can add it. See WP:COI and WP:V for more information. Feel free to ask any more questions on my talk page. Danger (talk) 04:36, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, Jdzarlino, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Just to let you know I will not be ringing you as you requested. Please read the advice and instructions on the site to learn how to use it properly. Deb (talk) 11:47, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

August 2011[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Kiwanis. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. CutOffTies (talk) 13:11, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Terrafugia, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. CutOffTies (talk) 13:13, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This has gone on entirely too long[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Artificial intelligence, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Orange Mike | Talk 01:31, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on "I SEE You" Phones, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. CutOffTies (talk) 14:53, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for spamming or advertising. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jdzarlino, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
