Nomination of List of films considered the best for deletion

Flags in zoo articles

Although we generally appreciate all the help we can get in zoo articles, please stop putting flags in infoboxes. See WP:MOSFLAG for guidelines, which specifically discourage flags in infoboxes. In general these templates are visually disruptive and provide no additional information. I am reverting your edits which added these flags. Thank you. Don Lammers (talk) 13:58, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi, Jedi94, just in case you have missed my talk page comments the issue is not the source or the overall percentage but that the original comment was more informative. It said that 75 to 80 percent of his face above his beard was missing. That is a more informative comment than saying 50% which might just imply the right side, for example. Of course he was shaved in hospital, and the doctors are now commenting based on that fact. But it is less, not more informative. Since I doubt there is any chance we are going to post the newly released pictures, so I have restored the original text as more informative. μηδείς (talk) 21:52, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Notability of people

I have reverted your edits at North Miami High School because Rudy Eugene does not meet the notability guidelines for people, per WP:PERPETRATOR. This is similar to the situation with Casey Anthony, where there is a consensus that she should not be listed as an alumni of Colonial high School. -- Donald Albury 11:54, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to the Zoo project. There is plenty of work to do here, regardless of what type of work you like doing. If you want to create new articles, you can go to List of zoos in the United States#Florida (or any other zoo list in here) and work on red-linked articles (even just in Florida there are a few left). I have a template in my sandbox that a couple of editors have found handy. If you prefer working on existing articles, you can go to the Zoo articles by quality page and find plenty of articles to work on. You can find redirects on this page as well, each of which represents a possible new zoo article. Additional instructions and suggestions can be found on the article requests page. If you are at a loss and need a project, just let me know and I can point you to things that need doing.

Remember to cite the information that you add (see WP:Verify). If you are uncomfortable making citations, just include the URL of where you got the information in square brackets "[ ]", let me know, and I will expand the citation. If you are working on a local zoo that you know well, this is particularly important because your own observations don't count here (see WP:OR). If you start a new article, remember to include {{WikiProject Zoo}} on the talk page so that it appears on the assessment radar.

Disney/Lucasfilm merger not consumated

Hi, just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that Disney and Lucasfilm Ltd. have not yet consumated their merger. They simply have received the government's OK to merge but neither have announced a formal date of when the merger will be consumated, see (here). So has of right now Lucasfilm is still owned by George Lucas. I've reverted the Infobox and removed some of the categories until such time as an official announcement appears on The Walt Disney Company's corporate website.
