Catan rules

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for the contributions to the Catan article, but that level of detail about the rules isn't really appropriate. There's a point at which it tips over from being an encyclopaedia article into being a game manual, and listing the cards and construction costs is - in my opinion - crossing that line. There's more about this at WP:GAMEGUIDE if you want to read up on Wikipedia policy.

Let me know if you have any questions, and, again, welcome to Wikipedia! --McGeddon (talk) 22:39, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to talk pages

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 22:44, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
