In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. Neutral point of view

[edit]

Hi Jeff. Welcome to Wikipedia. I just posted at the COIN Noticeboard in the above noted discussion thread. Thank you for engaging in talk page discussion to determine the best way to improve the Direct Democracy Ireland page. There are a variety of ways within Wikipedia to get editors to address your concern with the Direct Democracy Ireland page. Your direct editing of the article is not one of the good ways, since you have a Conflict of interest with the topic. See wp:COI which notes that Conflict of interest (COI) editing is strongly discouraged. I opened up a thread at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard#Direct Democracy Ireland. Since you first began editing, the page has change as shown here. If you still have concerns with the Direct Democracy Ireland page, please post them here. -- Jreferee (talk) 02:12, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Jeff Rudd

[edit]

User:Jeff Rudd, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Jeff Rudd and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Jeff Rudd during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Stalwart111 23:58, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted that page for two reasons. Firstly and less importantly, the content was copied from here, and you'd have to provide evidence that you are indeed the copyright holder and have the right to re-publish it under a free license. Secondly, that content attacked other editors and provided no relevant evidence. Having an interest in the topic we edit is not by itself a conflict of interest. Accusing others of lying without a shred of supporting evidence is not acceptable. Huon (talk) 23:31, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
