Regarding edits made to Dicta License[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Jenvidanes! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule .+\.multiply\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 08:41, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion notice[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dicta License, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Seraphimblade 08:48, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from your talk page; other users will utilize this page as a way of seeing past discussion, and removing things can be seen as disruptive if you appear to be trying to hide something. You may wish to consider archiving old discussions; take a look at the move page if you would like to learn more about moving and renaming articles. –Llama man 23:06, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Dictalicense livelyevent.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dictalicense livelyevent.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

License tagging for Image:DL logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DL logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:05, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Dictalicensepic.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Dictalicensepic.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. -- SteinbDJ · talk · contributions 16:56, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jenvidanes, the images Image:Dictalicense livelyevent.JPG and Image:Dictalicensepic.jpg are still problematic. You gave the source, and that's great, but the source does not indicate who the copyright holder is and what license the images are under. I'm tagging the images with {{no source}}. If at some point you find out the license and copyright holder by contacting the website owners, feel free to update the image description pages. Also, note that not all flickr images are free. The source, http://www.flickr.com/photos/aleckpulido/383070251/, for Image:Dictalicense nu.JPG in particular says "© All rights reserved" so the image cannot be used on Wikipedia under a free license unless the Flickr user agrees to one. Just to let you know, your user page has been unprotected so you're free to start using it again. Nardman1 23:39, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Dictalicense paghilom.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dictalicense paghilom.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:39, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image watermarking[edit]

Please do not add any attribution information or other watermarking directly inside the images you upload. You will be given proper attribution on the image description page. Image watermarking is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia (see WP:WATERMARK). Watermarks will generally be removed manually by other editors anyway (such editing is allowable by image licensing), so this will only deteriorate the image quality and generate unnecessary work for others.
