SBIOA (Chennai Circle)

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article SBIOA (Chennai Circle), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. DGG (talk) 03:47, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. Third largest crater is right, but not third largest natural salt lake. For a reference see www.maharashtratourism.gov.in/.../MaharashtraTourism/CitiestoVisits/Amravati/LonarAmravati.html --Redtigerxyz (talk) 06:10, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The community is not very good at judging technical ideas (or even content lol) so I make my own tools. To see how an article evolved is very general, I find it rather useless for the bandwidth it uses, more like a toy than a serious feature. One time I hacked up a tool that lists all the removed content that has references. (the colored bits in the diff) In theory it should produce a page full of bad things. You can imagine this is not always the case. If you want to make something useful I think that would be the functionality to look for. Just a thought of course, have fun & good luck! 84.106.26.81 (talk) 21:13, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It would be really helpful if you could share the link to the tool that you built.I would like to know what features oyu would like in the tool. --jeph (talk) 09:36, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have that script anymore. I do have this: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/170129 it doesn't filter the results but that should be relatively easy. 84.106.26.81 (talk) 10:06, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Replay

[edit]

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that your tool has been prominently mentioned in a discussion at WP:VPT#Animated article history revisions, and I've added it to the list at Wikipedia:Tools#Visualization. Thanks! –Quiddity (talk) 15:35, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Quiddity, Thanks for putting it on the lists, it gave the tool a jump in traffic :-). One of my plans has been to separate the slider & the viz part itself. So that the slider can be reused it other projects to select edits of interest. I started it a long time back at wikislider but its not the code thats in the tool currently. Do you know any project/idea where we could use this ?--jeph (talk) 07:14, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Replay

[edit]

Hi Jeph

I just tried the awesome tool you designed, it's great and far more than I realized when I talked with you. But it seems the Wiki Replay does not apply for the Chinese Wikipedia. Is there any issues that I can help to bring your a Chinese coverage:).

BTW: Would mind leaving message to me on Meta since I don't real visit English Wikipedia often.

Thanks so much, Stratoprutser! I feel so stupid now.
Awesome tool! (Although this left-right-direction thing will drive me mad very soon 8-) --Atlasowa (talk) 12:04, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Stratoprutser, thanks for stopping by and using the tool, Pls send me a pull request on github with your dutch translations (I noticed that you had forked the repo & then deleted it) :-). Atlasowa, I haven't yet been able to work on changing the direction, I'll do it as soon as I can. --jeph (talk) 13:15, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi see nl:User:Stratoprutser/replay.js, I just had to change a few en. into .nl. Stratoprutser (talk) 09:57, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
