[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Aspirator. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Old Moonraker (talk) 19:48, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Margaret Ward. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Old Moonraker (talk) 19:48, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
We are not advertising or promoting but merely "informing" as demonstrated by our Drake Circusprotected article.Jeremy-parkurst-junior (talk) 19:52, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

i should not be blocked due to a silly misunderstanding of the difference between 'advertising' and 'informing'.

You aren't, you are blocked for evading a previous block on another account. — Tiptoety talk 20:44, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

I simply refute the allegation that I was blocked on another account. D.Macks may well know his chemistry but he knows nothing of the current retail industry. It is our team’s task to educate and inform users of that industry and if DrakeCircus shopping mall just happens to be a leading innovator in that industry then I can understand the misconception that telling users this fact may be construed as spamming – but it is not. In any event as webhamster has said on many occasions do you really not want Wikipedia users to be reminded of some boring diatribe about WW2 tragedy’s or the history of some damn reservoir – of course not. They need to be kept up to date with current retail developments hence why our article remains protected. So if you would not mind please re-instate my account forthwith. Thank you.
Decline reason:
If you're not the same person you're a different person trying to use wikipedia for advertising, so I really don't see how it matters. --fvw* 21:05, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Lol lol Since when has wikipedia worried about advertising - I could point to about 300 articles on shops in my region alone. Wikipedia survives by donations from these shops who deservedly receive protection from competitors and ill-informed editors/admins such as yourself. So in the future please do not bite off the hand that feeds. psssssst I am back already :-)so you can do as you pleaseJeremy-parkurst-junior (talk) 21:12, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
