Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/VDT

[edit]

Hello Jeremy. I reverted your edits of the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/VDT page because Wikipedia guidelines do not encourage such inline translation of discussions for obvious reasons. If every discussion was translated in every language imaginable, these discussions would be difficult to read. So please stop restoring these edits even if they were done in good faith. That being said, if you really want to be useful, vote to either keep or delete the VDT article. --Loremaster (talk) 20:50, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Another Year, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Nomination of Junior's unofficial mascot owl for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Junior's unofficial mascot owl is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Junior's unofficial mascot owl until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Your addition to American Psycho (film) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Nymf hideliho! 14:36, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Blubber (novel) with this edit, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Thank you for your contribution to Seal (musician), but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely-used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you. Amsaim (talk) 19:29, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Seal. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
  • Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry, and avoid red links
  • Not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links

Thank you. Disambiguation pages do not have images - please see WP:MOSDAB. Widefox (talk) 09:15, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Seal (musician). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. [1] Widefox (talk) 09:22, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
