Changjiang Scholars[edit]
Hello, Gu Laoshi! Thanks for your thoughtful edits to the Chiangjiang Scholars page! I switched back some of your edits and reinserted "Yangtze River" because, crazy as it is, the Chinese government and governments worldwide refer to it as such (I have added appropriate references; thanks for pointing out that these were needed!) I also added a reference proving your point that it is also called Cheung Kung (I did not know this-- again, thanks!) If you have a moment, could you look around for a reference proving that it was named after Cheung Kung holdings rather than after the Yangtze River (as Li's company was named?) I looked all over and couldn't seem to find one. If you'd like a hand inserting the reference (big nuisance on Wikipedia), please send me the link and I'll format it for you.
