A tag has been placed on Category:1938 establishments in Indonesia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Mahyuddin - thanks[edit]

There may have been 5 !votes, but you did the actual work that got the article done. And you're a calm voice in what must be a somewhat tough struggle to broaden the coverage on ITN. And my comments here don't have to live forever, which is good too! --PaulBetteridge (talk) 06:47, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ITN recognition for KRI Nanggala (402)[edit]

On 22 April 2021, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article KRI Nanggala (402), which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 04:51, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Once the dust settles at WP:AFD, this new article could be a WP:DYK. Different criteria. WP:ITN is not a friendly place, and lots of articles don't make it. There is nothing wrong with the article, IMO. You have a short window in which to act. 7&6=thirteen () 19:22, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeromi Mikhael: Regarding your comment at AfD about re-nominating at ITN if it's kept, this will be too stale for ITN if it takes the typical 7 days to complete an AfD. If you are interested in DYK, I would nominate it now, as DYK is also only eligible for nomination up to 7 days after creation (barring an WP:IAR exception); the DYK would just be kept on hold until the AfD is resolved.
