Your edits to South Jersey[edit]

Could you please stop using the South Jersey page to advertise sjrates.com? Wikipedia is NOT a place to advertise a business, and all edits should be made in an objective, non-biased style. If you are looking for a way to promote your personal business, then please use a forum devoted to advertising. Please read the Organization FAQ for information on how to edit without displaying a conflict of interest. --Apollo1758 (talk) 16:17, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you think its not a good place to put this information? It says unique or notable business information in South Jersey. Yet Aqau Teen Hunger Force is in there, that makes no sense, alot of good they are doing for South Jersey. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jerseydeviljb (talkcontribs) 16:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reason that Aqua Teen Hunger Force is on the list is because they have their own Wikipedia article. The list is only for things that have their own articles on Wikipedia itself. I didn't create the list, and I've never heard of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but that's just the guideline for the section. The section has a hidden caption saying "<!--DO NOT ADD THINGS WITHOUT WIKIPEDIA ARTICLES TO THIS LIST-->", just in case you didn't notice. --Apollo1758 (talk) 23:20, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, im new to this, thanks for helping me out, do you think i should creat a page for it first then add it to the list?

Sorry, but sjrates.com wouldn't meet the notability guidelines for companies on Wikipedia. Only businesses which have significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources, such as newspapers or books, are typically included. For example, Le Bec-Fin has its own Wikipedia article, but the Springdale Farm doesn't. --Apollo1758 (talk) 00:46, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
