Greetings! I've reworked the description of File:NC DOT Complete 540 Map.PNG. I looked at the NC DOT website and don't see anything—on the image, the page, or in their terms of use—to show that the image is under a Creative Commons license. However, I feel the image adds to the Interstate 540 (North Carolina) article, so I've added a rationale to show that the image should be allowed to be use under the fair-use doctrine. —C.Fred (talk) 17:50, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks, it was created by a State Government for public use, so I wasn't sure what license that would by as none of them really fit --Jesseschulman (talk) 18:37, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

It's under an all-rights-reserved license. States retain copyright over their work, whereas a similar map created by the federal government would be in the public domain. —C.Fred (talk) 20:41, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
