Experienting

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thucydides of Thrace (talk) 06:10, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please read our core policies: WP:NPOV (including WP:WEIGHT), and in particular WP:V. Please only add text that you can attribute to a reliable source via a proper citation. Thanks! --Stephan Schulz (talk) 08:48, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, in regards to global warming conspiracy theory, please try to use the talk page to discuss changes rather than constantly re-adding things that other editors keep removing. Please also mind the three revert rule. Thanks, and happy editing. Oren0 (talk) 20:38, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ditto for Global cooling. Please do not change the lead so that it doesn't reflect the body of the article. Take especially care to read Stephans comments. --Kim D. Petersen (talk) 00:08, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]

Please beware of the WP:3RR rule - which you are likely to break on Global cooling if you do not watch it. --Kim D. Petersen (talk) 21:40, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In fact you would break it on the next revert - since your edit contains a partial revert of a deletion of a sentence. [1] --Kim D. Petersen (talk) 21:45, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Attempting to game the system by logging out and editing as an IP will only make your situation worse, possibly resulting in a much longer block than a simple three-revert rule violation. Raymond Arritt (talk) 21:56, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

December 2007

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Global cooling are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.
