Sorry, I don't know what you are talking about. As far as the Johnny Depp article was concerned, it seems like it isn't over because there are quite a lot of lust-crazy fans out there. BlackPearl14 19:27, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

im tlaking about the gore verbinski quote on the pirates films page. I kept taking it down. Is my evidence good enough for you? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.143.233.253 (talk) 00:21, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Sure :) I guess that needed a source. -Elizabeth [ BlackPearl14 01:26, 16 November 2007 (UTC) ]

Hi

Hallo. Anything I should fix?

hello! i am the one who asked about johnnys living quarters. it is very focused on jack because that could have been one of the things that he did to get into character. that is just my point of view. thank you and goodbye.

I'm so sorry I didn't respond right away! His living quarters aren't focused on Jack, though ;D Thanks for showing some interest, though! BlackPearl14 02:00, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

THANKS FOR INFO ON JACKS AGE

YOUR INFO DOES BACK JACKS AGE UP A BIT TO MAYBE HIS EARLY 30'S HAS ANYTHING BEEN NOTED ABOUT THE YEAR RANGE? MAY I PRESUME MY CALCULATION MAYBE POSSIBLE? I AM TRYING MY HAND AT A STORY INVOLVING JACK,BUT SINCE I AM AN AMATUER I THINK DISNEY WOULD DISREGARD IT. --Kae-linn 14:58, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

IF THE MOVIES ESPECIALLY POTC IS IN 1726 AND jACK IS INDEED 8 OR 9 YRS OLDERS THE ELIZ THAT PUTS HIM AROUND HIS EARLY 30'S BETWEEN 31 & 33; PUTS HIS BITRH YEAR SOME WHERE IN THE EARLY 1690'S; 1693-95. can't read through an article

when i try 2 read an aricle all the way through and have to wheel away from my computer 4 a few minutes, when i come back 2 finish reading it it has totally changed. then a few hours later the article is back 2 what i originally started reading. i do understand people r allowed 2 edit but can't they let an article such a Jack's and POTC at World's End unedited 4 a couple of days without fussing with it. i've printed out 5 different versions of each atricle as reference 4 a story i'm doing and i'm gettting a bit frustrated.--Kae-linn 12:53, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Deadmanschest3.jpg

Image:Deadmanschest3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Deadmanschest3.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Deadmanschest3.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Potc1.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Potc1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:14, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: Jack Sparrow FAC

Hi,

Of course it's all right! That's why I stuck the note on the article's talk page. I don't think any of my comments are too hard to fix (maybe sourcing that one section, don't know), so should be able to go to support easily enough. Carre 14:22, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

PS cos there seems to have been confusion; it's the first paragraph of the tie-ins section that needs the sources, not the lead. I'm part of the camp that doesn't like citations in the lead ;) Cheers. Carre 10:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

There's no cure for vandalism but...

I suggest you put Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace on as a favourite, and use these depending on how many times someone vandalises. Once they ignore a final warning, go to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Alientraveller (talk) 10:13, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, why did you delete the future section from the film series article? Alientraveller (talk) 23:01, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

User:Lotr93 Contributions

Please don't bite the newcomers. Lotr93's contributions may have been original research and misguided but they weren't vandalism. --NeilN talkcontribs 02:50, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

RE: James Norrington Vandalism

You mean 68.9.201.88? cause he's been blocked for at least 5 hours now. He's the only vandal I recall that I encountered vandalizing James Norrington, and I don't recall posting a level-1 notice on his userpage (the level-1 notice on his his talk page was posted in April by another user). Oh well. Cheers, The Chronic 06:37, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
