Peer Review:[edit]

The article is very detailed and the author did a really nice job in presenting the concept of quantum chemistry in a straightforward way. I particularly like the "relation in history" part. It expands the details in terms of how quantum mechanics is applied and adapted in each brach of chemistry. It provides the necessary information I wish to know as a reader who is not familiar with the concepts. The "density functional theory" part is good in the first half, which explains how the theory works and what the limitations are. However, the very last part in this section may need a little bit of expansion. For example, it would be great if the author could give one or two sentences explaining MD2 and CCSD. The comment on the first rough draft was about writing issues. The current article has a nice flow but there are still some grammar issues which are a little bit distracting. For example, the usage of plural forms, wrong spelling like " band energy", and "Density functional" which missed a noun at the end. Overall, the article is very well written.
