  • Hello Klortho. Thanks for your note and the good encouragement! I do have a question for you. Is there a way to open a link in a "new window" so that the current page being viewed isn't overlaid? I searched through all the markup information and couldn't see an option for that. However, I know that in HTML it can be done with target="_blank" inside the "a" tag. Thanks in advance! A kitten for you!

Hi Jim, I guess you own cats since you love animals. This cat conveys my greetings. Regards. Godwin

A kitten for you!

Hi Jim again this is Godwin. I guess I should have done better using the kitten in the basket. Goodnight Godwin

Thanks for the kitten in a basket. I showed it to my dog but he didn't seem very interested.  :-) Jim Perry, Lewes, Delaware (Jim892) (talk) 03:53, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jim,
I couldn't open the video that summarizes the characteristics of a good article on my computer. Did yours open it? Let me know. Godwin Ifere 02:18, 2 October 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wenwatata (talkcontribs)
Hi Godwin, I got the video to open with Chrome, but could not open it with Internet Explorer. I find the Wiki editing features don't work well in Explorer either (even in version 10). So, I've basically switched to Chrome for all the Wiki work. Here is the link to the page discussed in the video. --Jim Perry, Lewes, Delaware (Jim892) (talk) 03:53, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
