Request reason:

I am trying to edit the RSPCA New Zealand page. I have full permission by the business to do so. I have fully written confirmation from the CEO of the business to have this updated however it keeps getting removed for copyright violations of which I see as false. Can someone please get in touch with me regarding these issues. Jim Felp (talk) 23:24, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The permission of a potential article subject is not required; most articles are not written with the permission or even knowledge of the subject. Since you represent the organization you wrote about, you must review conflict of interest and paid editing. Wikipedia has no interest in what an organization wants to say about itself, only in what independent reliable sources choose on their own to say about it. If you are only here to represent your organization, there are no grounds to lift the block. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 23:48, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The permission of the organization's CEO is irrelevant. This is an encyclopedia. It includes content that is based on reliable sources. Removing sourced content and replacing it with PR-style material is inappropriate; furthermore, when that sort of content is taken verbatim from a source with no evidence of permission, it is a clear policy violation. --Kinu t/c 23:33, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

If I disclose my profile as a paid contributor and then edit the page with cites from independent outlets.

I work for SPCA NZ my employer is SPCA NZ There are no other affiliations e.g. fiverr, upwork.

If I follow the below: a statement on your user page, a statement on the talk page accompanying any paid contributions, or a statement in the edit summary accompanying any paid contributions.

Can the edits be reverted? Jim Felp (talk) 01:16, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Having looked at the UTRS ticket that you submitted, I agree with Deepfriedokra - you will need to confirm that you know how to edit constructively before being unblocked. This will include confirmation of understanding of our copyright requirements, our conflict of interest requirements and our neutral point of view requirements at a bare minimum. I suggest you have a good look through the ticket you recently submitted, where Deepfriedokra explains everything very well. WormTT(talk) 09:25, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you understand that Wikipedia only summarizes what independent reliable sources choose to say about an organization, not what it wants to say about itself? What other topics do you want to edit about? Someone else will review your request, but they will want to know the answers to these questions. 331dot (talk) 08:59, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
