Sorry about calling some changes you made to I-Empire vandalism; on a second look, they were not. I still think they don't improve the article, though - Wikipedia isn't the place to tell people where to get merchandise. Brianyoumans 18:23, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

November 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Charlie Landsborough. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Closedmouth 13:06, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Charlie Standing 2008.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Charlie Standing 2008.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot 14:06, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Charlieweb 2008.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Charlieweb 2008.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Charlie Landsborough - secondary school[edit]

You've added comments on his page and the Birkenhead School page to the effect that he went to that school. Do you have verifiable evidence for this ? According to his website, he went to "grammar school" in Birkenhead, and his headmaster was a Mr King. Neither of these apply to Birkenhead School - obviously there are/were various grammar schools in Birkenhead it could have been. For the time being I'll just delete the ref on the Birkenhead School page itself. Ghmyrtle (talk) 14:09, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS - I've also looked at your article on him, and although in my view he's clearly notable enough for an article, I have serious concerns over its non-encyclopaedia style, and over possible copyright violations. Happy for you to contact me if you need any advice on this - just trying to be helpful, not negative. Ghmyrtle (talk) 14:27, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
