BIOL 151L Review: Hi Jasmin, Interesting topic and good start! I suggested a few wording changes on the paper copy. A few additional general notes:

  • Be sure to include a source/citation for each fact that you write.
  • I read the existing widow skimmer page in wikipedia and noticed that your article does not add very much to the current article. Is there any new information available online? Is there any information specific to the widow skimmers that live in Chesapeake Bay?
  • I would also suggest expanding the sections on distribution and habitat to balance the sections. See this page for more details about balancing each section: https://dashboard.wikiedu.org/training/students/peer-review/a-balancing-act

@Hooganan: Hi Ashley, thank you for your review and suggestions. The current Widow Skimmer page in Wikipedia is actually my rough draft. Unfortunately, I didn't read Prof. Hirshorn's instructions thoroughly and moved my rough draft ahead of time instead of leaving it in my sandbox.I believe I did find information on widow skimmers that live in Chesapeake Bay, however, I am not quiet sure if the assignment allows to focus on widow skimmer in one specific area.Jlarios3 (talk) 16:08, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jasmin. Cool topic, your article is well organized and well written. However, my only suggestions are for the Distribution and Habitat. They require extensive details and need more elaboration on the Behavior section.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwils (talkcontribs) 21:44, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
