A compromise[edit]

Hi J. Would you support the deletion of both Easties and Westies? Failing that would you support keeping both? Both articles are magnets for derogatory comments. --WikiCats 04:28, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

JPD's RfA[edit]

Thanks, Rafy, for your support at my RfA, which finished with a tally of 94/1/0. I hope I live up to the confidence you have shown in me in my activities as an administrator. JPD (talk) 16:01, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Potter[edit]

Is there some reason you deleted this category from the Harry Potter and the Leopard Walk Up To Dragon page? You gave no edit summary, and haven't replaced the category with anything else. Exploding Boy 20:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rose Jackson request[edit]

Hey, I was hoping you could help me renominate Rose Jackson for an AfD, I don't know how to do it when it has previous AfDs to it's name. Cheers. KEVIN RUDD (Australian Prime Minister)[edit]

I have put the Queen of Australia and the Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia Please leave it I work for the Commonwealth Parliament and a member for the ALP (Australian Labor Party) —Preceding unsigned comment added by King wiston (talkcontribs) 06:41, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All the less reason to be adding them. Wikipedia consensus discussion has resolved that we will not have the GG/Queen in the infobox, and that overrides all. Thankyou. Timeshift (talk) 07:22, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Newspoll WA[edit]

Where's the 10-14 one published? I can't find it on Newspoll's website. Orderinchaos 03:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah no worries, thanks :) Probably just slow at updating. Orderinchaos 04:23, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst the poll is interesting, it doesn't look like Labor is boned in the WA just yet. They should get back in with a reduced majority IMHO. Timeshift (talk) 04:25, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Malcolm Fraser[edit]

You should revert the removal and that it to the talk page since it's source and you're claim isn't. Bidgee (talk) 03:56, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rob Oakeshott[edit]

Hi Jmount! I was just wondering about your edits to the Rob Oakeshott article. Where is it stated that MPs begin their terms from their day of election? A quick check of the Constitution shows that MPs and Senators must take the oath before taking their seat, which is what I would define as 'becoming' an MP. I also note that following the election of the Rudd Government, the Governor-General's official statement issued after the appointments were made stated 'The Hon Kevin Michael Rudd MP', as Kevin Rudd was an MP prior to the election, and 'The Hon Maxine Margaret McKew', without the 'MP' suffix, as she was newly elected.

I know this is a very small point, but I'm pedantic ;) It's only a matter of days before Rob takes the oath of allegiance in Canberra anyway. ajdlinux | utc 06:51, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It may be the case that he will not be an MP until he is sworn in, however officially his term is backdated to his election date. We've been over this many times before, and if I had the APH source i'd show you but I don't. Timeshift (talk) 07:03, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Latest newspoll - other 8%?[edit]

Where did you find this? Timeshift (talk) 15:25, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just realised - if we know Labor is 41%, Greens 13%, and were given the total coalition vote in the article, 38%, other can be calculated as the remainder of it :) Silly me. Oh well, full results up now. Timeshift (talk) 00:51, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mona Lisa[edit]

A quick Google search of past news archives indicates that this attack was not a commonplace event, the last of which occurred in April 1974. I'll reword the update differently to address your concern of recentism. KimChee (talk) 10:54, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

hockey image[edit]

Hi - just letting you know I cropped the bottom of Hockey's image, so it's the same size as Rudd's and fits in to the Australian federal election, 2010 page nicely. I think the image is improved regardless of what happens tomorrow anyway. Timeshift (talk) 11:24, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AFACT v iiNet[edit]

Roadshow was only one of 37 plaintiffs in the case with iiNet, why did you move the page? Please, reply in the article's discussion section. - 15.195.201.87 (talk) 22:10, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Roadshow Films v iinet is the name of the case. Yes, Roadshow is only one of 37 applicants, but they are the first applicant. Cases are referred to in the format: First Applicant v First Respondent. AFACT Ltd. was not even a party to the case. Jmount (talk) 23:08, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

November 2010[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Liberal Party of Australia. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
