How to fix Rick Downes[edit]

Regarding the article on Rick Downes. I know that he is running in the upcoming provincial election. This in itself does not make him a notable. I don't doubt that there is great potential that he may in fact be notable, however just cutting and pasting the biography from his campaign website is not the right way to create an article about him. What I reccomend is create an article, written following the Wikipedia Guide to Layout, and with an encyclopedic tone. Also remember (and this is very important, in order to not get your article deleted), make sure that you have secondary sources cited. As it sits now, regardless if you have the authaurization to use the copyrighted material, your article will probable get reccomended for speedy deletion under the notability guidlines for just that reason.If you need any help with this I would be more than happy to help you with it.
