March 2009 Flowanda's "edits"

[edit]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Creative financing. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Flowanda | Talk 05:53, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Flowanda, see my reply on your Talk page. Please do not make false accusations, it is not constructive nor in the spirit of the Wikipedia community. I started the Creative financing page from scratch and have added nothing but useful content and not advertising. From your Talk page I have read that you have previously been cited for vandalizing, so please refrain from it on our pages. Sincrely, --JoeSeo (talk) 15:08, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Careful: WP:NPA

[edit]

Please be careful not to stray into personal attacks on Flowanda. An edit summary containing the word vandalism is generally considered a personal attack unless the revert really is clearly vandalism rather than just (as in this case) a content dispute. I guess for the sake of form you should consider this a first formal warning. Thanks. --BozMo talk 14:23, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. I haven't come across Flowanda that much and have had aimable disagreements with her in the past (probably more disagreement than agreement in fact), but have never had cause to question her good faith and certainly do not think she comes close to being a vandal. As far as I have seen she is a good faith editor who particularly tends to be involved in protecting the project against poorly sourced material, spam and people pushing POVs. I had a quick look at the exchanges on this page and can see you are frustrated with her removals but the only "rule break" I noticed was yours, although edit warring and civility rules are being stretched by both parties. I know too little about the topic and relevant sources to do more than this kind of light touch intervention. --BozMo talk 20:33, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks BozMo. I think you've made an objective assessment, "edit warring and civility rules are being stretched by both parties". So I will be more mindful of this.--JoeSeo (talk) 08:33, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Second Opinion Request

[edit]

Hi JoeSeo,

I have written and the SocialSense article and would like to get your opinion about its notability references, structure, formatting etc. Could you have a look at it when you get a chance?
