Hello, I'm ArglebargleIV. An edit you recently made to Madera, California seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ArglebargleIV (talk) 04:09, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notability - Madera, California

[edit]

Hi Joe -

I'm just reaching out to you about your edits to the Madera, California entry. It looks like you're running into problems in a section that describes "noteworthy persons". Wikipedia actually has specific guidelines describing notability, so that avoids some of the potential disagreements and individual interpretations that would inherently come along with this sort of thing.

There is a particular notability guideline, WP:NMUSIC, that covers musicians. I don't see how Garza meets this guideline. Even if Garza had a WP article, it would probably be deleted soon under WP:NMUSIC. That's one of the reasons why several people are telling you that adding him to this list on the Madera entry. I thought I would reach out with this explanation so that you don't end up in an "edit war", a situation where you're repeatedly reinserting material into an article. Have a good weekend.
