Rwandan Genocide

Hi Joel Mugabe, and welcome to Wikipedia. It's great that you're on board, and willing to help out with building articles on Rwandan topics. However, I must ask you to follow WP:CONSENSUS when you're editing articles. You say yourself [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Rwandan_genocide&oldid=prev&diff=893902513 here that "I have a feeling most people in the talk page don't share my point of view"... that means you must discuss the point on the talk page, not just keep reinstating it. Note, for example, that although "Genocide against the Tutsi" is used by the UN, it is not the common name, and also fails the neutral point of view requirement as many sources also describe the genocide victims as including Hutu and Twa.  Thanks for reaching out to me @Amakuru. Here is how I see it. Concerning this topic, we mainly have three point of views: Tutsi victims, Hutu extremists, and the international community. Since the end of the genocide, the international community has been mostly focusing on the Hutu extremists and turning them into victims. The international community's sources are considered "reliable" while Rwandan sources are considered "unreliable". From what I saw on the talk page, there are very few Rwandans which means I don't believe in the neutrality of your consensus. The fact that you don't understand why the title should change, clearly proves my point. The UN has agreed after a long drag, the terminology "Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda". On Wikipedia, everything needs consensus. It doesn't matter what kind of change we're talking about. It doesn't matter if you think you are obviously correct, or if your change adds new content and does not delete anything. I understand that as a new user the rules can be confusing, I hope you learn the rules and continue editing Wikipedia. :) If they block you it'll only be for a short period of time the first time they do it, so it's not a big deal so long as you adapt to the rules.
