My name is Kyla Totoro, I’m Joel Gallen’s assistant. Can you please help me understand why every time he tries to upgrade his page it does not save? Why does he need to explain everything he is changing on his page. It’s Joel’s page and should be able to change his information as he pleases. Please let me know EXACTLY what he needs to do in order to change his info and it be saved publicly please. We want to make sure we are doing everything correctly.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Joel Gallen, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Hi, please stop editing the article about you. Your son's name and year of birth have already been removed. Your date of birth and the fact of your son's existence are statements in the article which have references to reliable sources, so please do not remove them. Please do not add information which does not have references - all statements in Wikipedia articles should be backed up by references and you should not use the article to try to promote yourself. Please read the conflict of interest guidance already posted here and request changes to the article on the article's Talk page. I will also post edit warring guidance here; please read that too. You're incorrect, my son's name is gone, but my birth year is still there. I want that removed asap. How do I add references to new information I want to upload? And if i want something removed that is personal and do not want to be shared, I should have that ability even if it is backed up by references to reliable sources. This page is about me and I should be able to edit what I want on it. Can you explain exactly what I need to do in order to update my page? Hi Joeltenthplanet! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Joel Gallen several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Joel Gallen, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. It's not your page

You appear to have a common but fundamental misunderstanding of what Wikipedia is and is not: see WP:N. The Joel Gallen page is not your page. It is an encyclopedic article about you. It does not belong to you and you have (almost) no control over it. Because you have an unavoidable conflict of interest, you have even less right to edit the article that does any random editor.

However, we try to be sensitive and careful about biographical information: see WP:BLP, please DO mention any problems in this regard on the article's talk page.
