Please, Wikipedia guidelines for publishing are very confusing, and I am trying to move this forward, PLEASE HELP/ADVISE WHAT I need to do move forward???????

My username is Joenathan21783. I am submmitting the following brief article about a musical ensemble called "Roots Rock Society."

ROOTS ROCK SOCIETY

Roots Rock Society is a Chicago-based musical emsemble that promotes the music of the African Diaspora, including reggae, calypso, american jazz, rock and latino rhythms. The ensemble is led by Chicago music-veteran Stann Champion. In January, 2009, he won "Best Soul-Calypso Musician," at the 28th Annual Chicago Music Awards. The group is known for creating and performing original music at community-based, rather than commercial entertainment venues. RRS has played to hundreds of thousands at such well-known Chicago public eniues as Navy Pier, US Cellular Field, O'Hare International Airport, Millenium Park, and Midway International Airport. In addition, the group has taken its message of cultural pluralism and the promotion of African diaspora music to a number of schools in the Chicago area. The group's most recent release, "La Familia," is an ode to African, latino and Calypso beats and traditional family values.

The ensemble's bright future began with a life-altering decision in the 1980s when Champion decided to leave a successful advertising career, to work on recording project at Tuff Gong Studio in Jamaica. There, he contributed to contemporary Reggae and other world rhythm giants as Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Mariam Mekeba, and Lucky Dube. Today, Champion and RRS’s music has been heard in 50 American media markets and in nearly 20 countries across the planet, covering all five continents.

In addition, he has received radio airplay on Chicago media outlets: WLS (ABC), WTTW (PBS), WGN (Superstation), (WBBM) CBS and public cable access channels, matched with radio airplay on The Loop, WGCI, WXRT, WBEZ and college stations across the city. More recently, Champion and RRS have ventured into the realm of music as a "healing art," by providing volunteer music therapy to patients a Swedish Covenant. Swedish covenant has, in turn, exposed RRS to a national chain of holistic health hositals known as "The Planetree Program."

The 56-year-old Champion is most proud, however of serving as "Principal for a Day" at The Sir Miles Davis Magnet Academy for Children’s Engineering, the first of its kind in Chicago . With youth performance/workshops in public and private schools and churches, RRS was recognized for their efforts by being bestowed "Award of Honor for the Contribution to World Beat Music" by the 2008 Chicago Music Awards.
