Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Joeyvalley. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Wet (band), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Hi there and thanks for your contribution--we're eager to make sure WP is as accurate as possible and appreciate the corrected info even if you have a COI. The easiest, quickest way to proceed would be if you could leave a message on Talk:Wet (band) with a link to an external source verifying the info--ideally if there were a news article or if were mentioned on the band's website, that'd be best but a tweet from a band member would probably suffice in this case. And then I (or another editor, if someone else gets there first) will update the page for you.
But truly, thanks so much for your contribution to making the encyclopedia more accurate, and I hope you stick around and help out with any other pages, whether making suggestions on the Talk page if you have a COI or editing freely if you don't!
