Sorry!!

[edit]

I’m so sorry!! I didn’t know it was vandalism and it’s my first time using Wikipedia. Please forgive me!! John.marchwick (talk) 01:08, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@John.marchwick: I am very proud that you have realized your actions are wrong unlike other newcomers. For the concern rating, with ten being the highest, I would score a one. I had to deal with three sockpuppets who deceived me during the last few weeks. Also very happy that your apology was in good faith.
To get started with Wikipedia, you can ask the Teahouse if you have any questions and view the five pillars. I am an extended confirmed user doing my best to revert vandalism. Like you, sometimes I screw up my edits and become clueless, like this when I accidentally clicked on the 'rollback' button using Lupin's tool. I gave myself a trout as a result of that action.
I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Cheers :) —Bey WHEELZ Let It RIP!📝Sign 02:44, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thank you for forgiving me with my dumb actions. Although I was typing updating the Grizzly and wolf discovery center page but someone deleted my changes to that and I would like to know who. I was only talking about the new things they added and updating the profile to make it more accurate. If you can find out who that would be great. John.marchwick (talk) 05:58, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@John.marchwick: The person who deleted your changes was User:Kind Tennis Fan. There is a reason why. I do not want to insult you, but the reason is because he wanted to let you know that the content you have added is unsourced. Also, I found that you removed three sources, causing citing errors on the references section. Please see this link for more info.

Sorry again!! I didn’t mean to do that. This is my first time having a Wikipedia account and I did now cite my sources. Although I couldn’t import the number from where I got the sources but also I have a question. I’m a member of the GWDC and it states all the new stuff that is coming to the zoo and other new things as well. Could you help me how I site that. Also make sure that dude who deleted my stuff doesn’t do it again for I worked very hard on finding this information. John.marchwick (talk) 17:29, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry!!

Also I didn’t mean to delete those three sources. Please forgive me!! John.marchwick (talk) 17:30, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please cite a source

[edit]

Your addition to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park did not cite a source. Please do so in the future? WP:V WP:CITE WP:RS. I added a source here. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 00:38, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!
