Review Article

Please can you review this Dulhan (Drama) article Kaleem Bhatti Talk 15:34, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Kaleem Bhatti, you need to add more references to show the film is notable. See WP:NFILM for further details. Regards --John B123 (talk) 15:43, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

Request

Hello there, I would like to thank you for your effort in reviewing articles. If you have some free time, please take a look at John Clover Monsma. Thanks in advance and kind regards.--TheEagle107 (talk) 20:44, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi TheEagle107 Whilst I don't doubt Monsma is notable enough to warrant his own article, that notability is not demonstrated on the page by the references. Most of the references verify he wrote the works, but don't import any importance to them. You need to add references that show other people's opinions of his works, or better still other authors citing his books in their works. (See WP:AUTHOR) Google Scholar is often a good place to start. Regards.

Hector Acero Sánchez

I tried to create this page last year under "Hector Acero-Sanchez". I incorrectly created the page without references and it was deleted and moved to draft. While looking him up so that I could properly list the references, I learned that Hector Acero Sánchez is the proper way to write his name, so I deleted everything from the draft and created a new page. Unfortunately, I cannot link this new page to the different translations of the page because the original "Hector Acero-Sanchez" and I don't know how to get rid of it. I'm just trying to get this page to stay up and be accessible. CaPslOcksBroKEn (talk) 21:54, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi CaPslOcksBroKEn, I've changed the Wikidata entries so Hector Acero Sánchez, not Hector Acero-Sanchez, is liked to the German and French versions. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 22:07, 21 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi John, Thank you very much for your editions and your help in "Mercedes Castro". Sorry to ask again

I’m really sorry to ask you again but don’t worry this will be the last time since now I have gained autopatrolled rights. Could you just review these two articles. One of these articles I created seventeen days ago and nobody has bothered to review it. Thanks. Amanda Figueras Juhayna Food Industries Thepharoah17 (talk) 09:52, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Thepharoah17, well done on gaining autopatrolled rights. I've marked both as reviewed, but in both cases notability is marginal, or rather their notability isn't shown strongly on the page. I would suggest you add more references to show more clearly the articles meet WP:JOURNALIST/WP:COMPANY to prevent possible problems in the future from other editors who might take a harsher view. Regards --John B123 (talk) 10:31, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Help on non Wikipedia related issues

I have this concern about some of the recent Articles you review. I noticed that they don't get a knowledge panel compare to other recently created articles, is it something to worry about or it's on Google side to know if the name Worth it? Thanks for reviewing my Articles Lynndonald (talk) 14:23, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Lynndonald, are you referring to the "authority control" box, such as at the bottom of WFM (motorcycle)? If so, the box links to the article's entry in various library (and other) catalogue systems. The data the box draws the info from Wikidata. Some subjects have the data stored, others don't. As far as Google is concerned, I doubt it makes much difference if the article has the box or not. Google will normally index the page within an hour or two of it being marked as reviewed. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 15:04, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Don't worry John, please one can I do one of my Articles is up for deletion, couldn't find more references what can I do to save it. Soccerhub_(website) Lynndonald (talk) 21:10, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Lynndonald, I'm sorry to say I don't think there's much you can do. To establish notability (which is the problem here) there needs to be references from independent, reliable sources. Soccerhub's own website and things like sitejabber with only one review don't count. I've looked on Google but can't find anything suitable. Perhaps when the site is more established there will suitable references available and you can recreate the article. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Regards --John B123 (talk) 21:34, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for your candid response thank, have a great day Lynndonald (talk) 21:56, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Howdy-ho. Sorry if I may sound groutchy. Anyway, I appriciate you doing your job, notifying that the Jieitaikakutōjutsu lacks citations and all, which I have fixed. I hope. That said, the topic of Jieitaikakutōjutsu is not an easy one, as we are talking about stuff which information generally kept within a nation's military. While details of the older/pre-2008 Jieitaikakutōjutsu is available in Ryuichi Hirayama's "Introduction to Self-Defense Forces Hand Fighting" (自衛隊徒手格闘入門), dated 2002 (ISBN 978-4890631506), the details of the post-2008 refiments are currently quite limited. Only information I have is what is on Japanese wikipedia entry, and it too lacks citations. I try to put citations of Hirayama's work in the page, but regrettably without help from someone with language skills in both Eng and Jpn, getting details/citations on the 2008 refinement will be hard.--TrickShotFinn (talk) 20:16, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi TrickShotFinn. I can sympathise as I've had similar problems on a few articles I've written. Well done for adding the references you have, they show that the subject has notability so it's unlikely somebody will nominate it for WP:AfD. I can't suggest more than leave the article as it is and add more references if/when they become available. Regards --John B123 (talk) 21:00, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

New Page review

Thanks for reviewing the article on Gabi Le Roux, and for the insight on how the process works. Per your suggestion, I added some measures of notability to the page - sales stats for his biggest hit, and that he was the subject of a TV documentary. Paulgush (talk) 21:15, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Hilmi Isa

Hello. You recently added a

to the Hilmi Isa page I created. I'm working to create entries for cabinet ministers in Egypt, and for most of them there's not much material available in English. Obviously the page is thin--that's why it's in Category:Egyptian_politician_stubs. I always cite primary sources, such as the major bibliographic dictionary of Al-Zirikli. Please avoid reflexive use of refimprove. Unless you have read the primary sources I've linked to, don't claim that the page needs verification. Thanks for your work. Will Hanley (talk) 23:42, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

@Will Hanley: Please see Help:Referencing for beginners. It is up to the editor of the page to provide inline citations to verify content, not for the reader to guess that the reference for one sentence applies to other parts of the article. Additionally, "Zirikli. al-A'lam" means nothing to people who are not familiar with the subject. See Citation for the details normally given when using a book as a reference. --John B123 (talk) 00:02, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Please Do not move it, I'm trying to find any references about this Area, so don't move it. Miggy72 (talk) 17:22, 30 October 2020 (EST/UTC-5)

@Miggy72:. It usually works the other way round - you add the references and then move to mainspace. I've added the {{in creation}} tag which will give you some breathing space to add the references. --John B123 (talk) 21:39, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
@Miggy72:. It's been 24 hours and there are still no references in the article so I have moved it back to draft. Please do not move it back to mainspace until references have been added. --John B123 (talk) 21:49, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Create an Article

Dear John, Will be my please if an experienced editor like you help me to improve the quality of contributions. I would like to create an article about an Iranian army general which already exists on fa-wiki (persian wikipedia). Can I use Persian references as reliable sources ? --Sajjadimanian (talk) 11:21, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Sajjadimanian. Whilst English references are preferred, when they are not available then other language references, such as Persian, are perfectly acceptable. Regards --John B123 (talk) 11:42, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Thanks John B123 I'm asking because some editors from fa-wiki don't even accept this. They try to corrupt and delete some articles without attention to WP:GNG and other wikipedia guidelines in english. --Sajjadimanian (talk) 12:00, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Although en-wiki and fa-wiki are sister projects, they don't necessarily have the same policies and guidelines. The English WP:GNG, or any other English guideline, are not applicable on fa-wiki, I expect they have equivalents but these may differ significantly to the English equivalents. Regards --John B123 (talk) 12:12, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Thanks I understand. I created an article in persian wikipedia, but some editor from fa-wiki that deleted the artcile there, came here and tried to delete the article here at english wikipedia. Is it a kind of canvassing if I ask some experienced editors here (en-wiki) to have a look and contribute in that article ? Help me please because I don't like to breake the rules. Thanks John and sorry if I bothered you by taking your time. --Sajjadimanian (talk) 12:20, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
No problem, always willing to help. If an article is deleted at fa-wiki it doesn't necessarily follow that it should be deleted here. What is the article? Regards --John B123 (talk) 12:27, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
The article is about a multi-task iranian sport executive Iman Farzin. Unfortunately two of Persian editors (one of them speedy deleted the article in fa-wiki and blocked my account for ever) came here are trying to corrupt the article. All sources are in Farsi, but they refer to reliable sources and news agencies. The article can be even speedy keep, but they say it must be deleted because they deleted it at fa-wiki (they have the administration access in fa-wiki). I don't know what to do more, but I believe that it strongly pass the General Notability Guideline. Thanks John --Sajjadimanian (talk) 12:36, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
I've added a comment on the deletion page. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 13:12, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

New Article and permission of movement of Draft:Cypress Creek, Florida

Hi, Talking about another article and references is hard for me. But how much references would it need for the page to need published?(Page link in Title) Miggy72 (talk) 15:13 UTC 2 November 2020.

@Miggy72: There is no fixed amount of references for an article. From WP:VERIFY: All material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists and captions, must be verifiable. All quotations, and any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation that directly supports the material. Looking at Draft:Cypress Creek, Florida, although there is some content that is unreferenced, I think the references you have added are enough to justify moving it. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:26, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Mojtaba2361. Looking at similar XXX national football team results, XXX national football team results (2020–present) seems to be the more common format. I would suggest we redirect Iran national football team results (2020–29) to Iran national football team results (2020–present).

Hi MarcusTraianus. It still needs more references, there's quite a bit of content that's unreferenced. Also, the Biography section would be better written as prose rather than a list. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 18:39, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
John B123, thanks for the comment. Is the article better now? MarcusTraianus (talk) 19:29, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
The references look ok now. The biography needs some editing to improve readability. I've copyedited the first couple of paragraphs to give you a start (although I'm no language expert). Regards --John B123 (talk) 20:33, 3 November 2020 (UTC)

Page Review

Hello!

I saw you reviewed my article SS Ursus... I'm relatively new to wikipedia, is rating like a score that you give? Is there somewhere where I can see what the rating is and/or a place to see what could be improved? I don't know if "new page reviewers" are notified when a new article is created but I appreciate people like you helping me educate about very obscure topics I am passionate about.

All my best,

--- La Transatlantique — Preceding unsigned comment added by La Transatlantique (talkcontribs) 05:24, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi La Transatlantique. The review is just a check that the subject is suitable for inclusion and has no major problems. It is not "scored". There is a New Pages Feed that we use. SS Ursus is a nice article, adding references for the first two paragraphs of "French Line service" would be good, but otherwise no problems with the article. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:12, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Your thoughts

Will you consider reference from https://entrepreneursbreak.com/ okay when patrolling an article Lynndonald (talk) 15:57, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Lynndonald, it's a bit marginal for a WP:RS. It depends on the circumstances, if it was one of many references on the page it would probably be ok, but if there were only a couple of references and it referenced a large part of the page then it might problematic. Sorry I can't give you a straight yes or know answer. Regards --John B123 (talk) 16:31, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi John, thank you very much for your suggestions. Between all of us, we manage to make the articles better every day. I have already put enough references to Manuela Vargas' article, if you want to remove the reference template, it would be great. thanks--Ursulabela (talk) 16:13, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Ursulabela. Well done, I've removed the tag and marked the page as reviewed. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:32, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your review of the new page Paul Seckel! What do you think of the article? Can it remain on Wikipedia? Right cite (talk) 19:05, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

Questions about notability have been raised on the talk page by a user. The person's art work was reviewed in two (2) pieces in The New York Times, across multiple decades apart. Do you think it can stay on Wikipedia? Right cite (talk) 19:10, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

John B123, thanks very much, the user replied and unfortunately your comment was not enough for them. What do you think? Right cite (talk) 19:26, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
Unfortunately, the response didn't address the question of how Seckel is notable. In order to determine if the article is being written around the subject's notability, we need to know what that notability is. --Hipal/Ronz (talk) 19:29, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for your message regarding Darrol Blake. With regard to your comments, I suggest you take a look at this page for another British TV director and producer, Matthew Robinson, which had existed on Wikipedia since 2005 and had not had a single reference on it until I added four this year. It still has a massive amount of unreferenced information on it. Rodericksilly (talk) 20:30, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Rodericksilly. Yes there are older articles unreferenced/poorly referenced article on WP, but these are gradually being improved by other editors, as you have done, redirected or deleted. Regards --John B123 (talk) 20:37, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Asking for help

Hello,

I saw you was really helpful tonight in regards to contributing to the articles I’ve contributed to the community. Someone is trying to have them both deleted and it’s clear they are very notable topics and back up with citations in which extends on the diversity of this platform so I feel they are acting through prejudice. Could you possibly help me in regards to this as I don’t feel notable topics should be deleted on behalf of of members prejudices. Thank you. WIKIBB2020 (talk) 01:18, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi WIKIBB2020. Articles on Wikipedia need to be notable. Notability is generally judged on what other people say about the subject, generally in newspapers, magazines or book. Generally this works well, but sometimes it doesn't. At one end, people like Gemma Collins get articles when she's not notable for anything except getting her name in the papers. Other topics which are notable but don't get much coverage struggle to keep the articles. Your articles seem to fall into the latter category. I note an admin has turned down the speedy delete request for Mary Teresa Collins and I added a note to your "Contested deletion" on Justice 4 All Women & Children.
I'm not sure there was any prejudice in the speedy delete nominations, just somebody trying to apply the guidelines as they see them. Regards --John B123 (talk) 16:29, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Thank so much for taking the time to reply John. I completely understand and respect what your saying. I had added a few citations via the news articles and magazine print last night, so at the time I found it hard to understand why it was label as such after creating a article in which had less citations in the past. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to do that, along with your previous help towards those articles and for being really informative within your helpful as well as very truthful, response. Kind regards WIKIBB2020 (talk) 16:58, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Valeriy Babych

How exactly he may not meet wikipedia's guidelines for notability? He was MP and chairman of a political party, in addition to holding a number of government and non-government offices. --Pesqara (talk) 11:38, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Pesqara. That may well be the case, but this is not verified within the article by references. As the notability tag says "Please help to establish notability by citing reliable secondary sources". Regards. --John B123 (talk) 16:41, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for reviewing to the new page Haitian Center Tower 2! What do you think of the article? Mitzikarl (talk) 03:41, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Mitzikarl, thanks. Skyscrapers are not inherently notable so you need to add "significant coverage" in the form of references to show notability. I'm sure there has been plenty of press coverage of the Haitian Center Tower 2, so it shouldn't be too difficult to add further references. Regards --John B123 (talk) 08:11, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Jane Clarke (poet)

Hello - thank you for reviewing this article. Regarding notability - I included a number of secondary sources in the article, eg quotations/reviews from other prominent poets, recommendations and articles from newspapers, confirmation of various awards/prizes, citations for publications. I will try to find more of these, but I do feel that I've already shown how Jane Clarke is a prominent Irish poet whose work has been published by reputable and respected poetry publishers (notably the UK publishers Bloodaxe and Smith Doorstop). She has given TV and radio interviews, recorded her work for an important literary archive, and is very active in poetry festival participation, touring to give readings in Ireland and beyond (UK, USA). She's also well known in the Irish poetry community, which is a very collaborative and supportive one. Thank you for your feedback. CourtauldGill (talk) 20:17, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi CourtauldGill. The notability tag is more "notability needs to be shown more on the page" than the person isn't notable. There are some people who are a bit trigger-happy in sending articles to AfD. They would probably argue that the awards she won are not major awards and the references to her works only show she was the author not notability. In my view, it's better to add some more references now to prevent it possibly being sent to AfD in the future. (Even if the article is kept, the AfD process can be stressful for the creator). Hope that all makes sense. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 22:16, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

Hello and thank you for the explanation. The thing is, I quoted from a secondary source in the introduction line, from a review by the well-known novelist Anne Enright, with a citation to the Irish Times guide to best books of 2019 (citation [1]). And I quoted from other secondary sources later in the article, eg a quotation from a review article by the prominent author Carol Rumens in 'Poem of the week' in The Guardian newspaper (citation [5]). I've added a few more citations to back up claims (eg Dublin and South Wales universities). The poetry awards are all highly respected awards, one of them leading to a TV interview, the Arts Council award obviously shows high-level recognition for this poet's work, and Bloodaxe is a highly respected poetry publisher - people in the poetry world know this (it's not easy to get published by Bloodaxe!). Together with a link to a TV interview and a radio interview, I'm not sure how much more is needed to prove notability! I hope this helps to clarify. Thank you again for your support. CourtauldGill (talk) 17:30, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi CourtauldGill. I think there's probably enough on the page now to show notability beyond doubt (or should I say the doubts of those who know little of the subject) so have removed the tag. All that aside, I think you have created a good article there. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:53, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Many thanks for your expert guidance - I'm glad to know that the article is now stronger regarding notability. I really appreciate your support. Best wishes, CourtauldGill (talk) 18:21, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

There are references. Didn't you see the list of three references at the bottom of the article? Kuupanyu (talk) 23:41, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

@Kuupanyu: I saw 3 items listed in "Further reading", but that section isn't for references for the article - see MOS:FURTHER. The article needs inline citations to verify the content. Please see Help:Referencing for beginners. --John B123 (talk) 00:06, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Question regarding speedy deletion tag

Hi John B123,

Looking for more information on why my article (Burning Down the House (novel)) was tagged for speedy deletion. You mentioned that it "seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright," and I'm curious as to which part of the article you're referring to. Is it the cited quotes from reviewers? If so, is there another way you'd recommend I cite them?

112abc (talk) 18:21, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi 112abc, my apologies, the parts that were flagged are indeed direct quotes so I've removed the tag. On a separate note, the article needs more citations to show it meets WP:NBOOK. Regards --John B123 (talk) 18:31, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Thank you! 112abc (talk) 18:57, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Quick question

Hiya. Sorry to ask so many. You reviewed Eduard Arzt which I was myself tempted to do, but the fact the page was created by clearly an SPA [4] gave me pause. I read the guidance, which was to wait a bit and see if the SPA turned into a useful contributor. The page does read a little bit like a CV but clearly has value. Nothing to see here, move on? Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 03:17, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Alexandermcnabb. I did have a ponder over this one before reviewing, but in the end thought notability was established and there were no major issues to prevent reviewing. Generally, I don't not review articles by SPAs if the article stands on its own merit. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 08:14, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Dunollie, New Zealand

Hi John. Re Dunollie, New Zealand "This article does not cite any sources. (November 2020)" - I would have thought the Source:-

Vajda, Vivi; Raine, J. Ian; Hollis, Christopher J. (2001). "Indication of global deforestation at the Cretaceous–Tertiary boundary by New Zealand fern spike". Science. 294 (5547): 1700–1702. Bibcode:2001Sci...294.1700V. doi:10.1126/science.1064706. PMID 11721051. S2CID 40364945.

Would have qualified as a reasonable source? Thanks in advance LawrieM (talk) 22:43, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi LawrieM, I'm sure Vajda et al is a good source but it's given as an "External link", i.e. for further information on the subject, not a reference. See WP:CITE for a fuller explanation. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 22:51, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks John. Absolutely fair enough then. It might be above my paygrade at this stage to be able to handle the edit required. Do you have time to fix it in the meantime? Ta LawrieM (talk) 02:29, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi LawrieM, I've sorted the refs and also made a few other changes to the page. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 17:53, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Krishna Devaraya (descendant of Aliya Rama Raya)

Hello JohnB123,

Why did you tag the article, Krishna Devaraya (descendant of Aliya Rama Raya), I created recently, for deletion? My opinion is that the article is significant, as Krishna Devaraya is the most famous descendant of the greatest emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire, Krishnadevaraya, and his influential son-in-law, Aliya Rama Raya. So please tell me what tells you that the article I created is insignificant.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks! User talk:Tulika and Satvik

Hi Tulika and Satvik. Notability is not inherited, nor is fame the same thing as being notable. An article on Krishna Devaraya would have to show how he is notable in his own right. Regards. --John B123 (talk) 10:22, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Yeah. Thats what is make notable. It is the first ever album released by an Indian club as a dedication to its fans. Thank you for reviewing Natasha Marin

Hello! Thank you for reviewing Natasha Marin so fast. I added a section to expand on one of her projects (Black Imagination), with links to a number of nationally-known secondary sources with material references. Do you think this qualifies for the notability tag to be removed, or are there still concerns or other issues? I will add more biographical information and projects as well. One additional question: one of the subject's most notable projects has a separate wikipedia page (Reparations (website)). Is it bad form to duplicate some of that information on the bio page? Thanks again! Telektty (talk) 18:54, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Telektty. The notability guidelines for poets and artists are more geared to the deceased than current creative people, so assessing notability is at times subjective. In my view notability has been established so I have removed the tag, however, other may take a different view and challenge this. It's fine to include content from another page where relevant provided it's not overdone, the articles need to be significantly different. Generally you would include in Natasha Marin that she was the founder of Reparations (website), and possibly the background behind the formation, but not the details of the website which would be in Reparations (website). Regards. --John B123 (talk) 19:26, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Thank you so very much, John B123! This is so helpful. Kind regards Telektty (talk) 20:14, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of Lung Yen Life Service

Hi John I am confused why the page is deleted. All the content was translated from zh.wikipedia. It should not got any unambiguous advertising problem. Maybe you have no idea about funeral industry. Hi Chanchihon. The page read like a press release for the company. The deletion was not a reflection of the notability of the company. Regards --John B123 (talk) 07:12, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi!

Please keep the page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loreta_Fishta as is about an Albanian model which is also the great-granddaughter of Gjergj Fishta. I have added references and sources for this article.

Regards NCELAJ (talk) 07:39, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi NCELAJ. Notability is not inherited, so being a descendent of Gjergj Fishta does not qualify her for having her own page. You need to show by content and references that she is notable in her own right. I can move the article to draft where you can work on it without interference if you prefer. Iran does not use Gregorian calendar for fiscal years, and none of these sources say as such. Pahlevun (talk) 20:34, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
You're right, Iran does not use the Gregorian calendar, but for clarity we use Gregorian dates on WP when referring to events in Iran, for example see Politics of Iran#Annual budgets. "1399 Iranian national budget" would lead people to think the article was about Iran's economy 620 years ago. --John B123 (talk) 20:44, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
I didn't know that annual budgets of Iran are listed in that article using two consecutive Gregorian years. Given that it is still a bill, do you think there should be an article for it? I believe merging it to Politics of Iran under 2021–2022 would be a better choice. Pahlevun (talk) 20:57, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
@Pahlevun: Although it's only a stub at the moment, it has the potential to develop into fuller article as events unfold so would tend to let it remain. However, if the article doesn't get further developed in line with the passage/approval of the bill then merging would be appropriate. --John B123 (talk) 21:13, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Alright. I am moving the article to the proper name. Pahlevun (talk) 21:29, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
@Pahlevun: Makes sense. I've added the Iranian calendar date to the article. --John B123 (talk) 21:51, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Advice, can I remove the quotation mark

You reverted my edit okay but what about this ----> "...were permitted to share in the 'comfort' provided by thousands of kidnapped Korean young women held as sex slaves by the Imperial Japanese Army at its camps. This might have provided them with some insight into the nature of Japanese, as opposed to British, colonial rule, as well what might be in store for their sisters and daughters ".

Is this actually a quote because I looked at the source and can't find a single quote for this https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=rWjtDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA1082 Vamlos (talk) 22:59, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

John B123. But why isn't there a quotation mark like in note 153 (at the bottom). Also the quotation should be mentioned it was by Lebra and not by Gerhard Weinberg. Vamlos (talk) 00:15, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi Vamlos. It would be good to bring out that Weinberg was quoting Lebra. Regards --John B123 (talk) 08:14, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
