Tesla birthplace[edit]

Hi John! Could you please make a correction? Tesla was born in Croatia within the Kingdom of Hungary, not "Austrian Empire." Croatia was in a personal union with Hungary since the 1100s. The Austrian Empire ceased to exist after the Hungarian War of Independence in 1848 and the resulting compromise in 1867 establishing the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Kingdom of Hungary, and its crown lands, including Croatia, were themselves a part of that new empire. This is an important nuance many miss.
