Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Civil Rights Act of 1964, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. It said Democrats and Republicans pushed to stop it when it was only Democrats that were fighting against it. Republicans had been trying to push through the legislation for decades. How is saying the southern Democrats created Jim Crow not relevant to the topic?

A god hunk of that page is revisionist history. It was 100% the democrats that started segregation, and were the cause of the Civil Rights Act even needed to be establishes. It is pushing a political narrative and a lot of that page needs to be edited.

In the copy and paste below the word "Republicans" needs to be removed because it is historically not true. All the names under it are even Democrat come on man

Of the 71 senators who voted to end cloture (and thus make the Civil Rights Act the law of the land), 44 were Democrats and of the 29 who opposed, six were Republicans.

that was speaking about fillibusters. No Republicans filibustered. Robert Byrd is the mentor of president Joe Biden. That's not even a hidden fact, history doesn't care about emotions. While what you say is most definitely true, in this case its necessary. But I should've expected this. Everyone told me wikipedia isn't as trusted as it used to be and pushes propaganda now.
