Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Johndrwhosmith, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Also, please read our policies on WP:VERIFY, all information added must be able to be checked. WP:CITE explains how we use citations to WP:RELIABLE sources so the information can be verified by other editors. And per this, also read up on WP:NPOV, calling Native Americans "Savages" is totally unacceptable here. Heiro 18:10, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Per one of your recent edits, only add ~~~~ when leaving mnessages on talkj pages, not in article space. Thanks, and thanks for the citations you add to that article. Heiro 18:36, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Johndrwhosmith, you are invited to the Teahouse

Hi Johndrwhosmith! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! Osarius (I'm a Teahouse host)

Decline reason:

Stale request. You have not addressed the reason for your block. Danger High voltage! 12:50, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Per Jpgordon's reply, it appears that this was one of several accounts created in quick succession with similar usernames (the others being User:Psedonymbosch, User:Tobeanon, User:Anonymouswhovian). These seem highly suspect to me (especially Anonymouswhovian, an almost perfect synonym for Johndrwhosmith - that pretty much convinces me that there's no coincidence at play here). What was your purpose behind creating these accounts? Yunshui  22:54, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this is relevant, but see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Some help with a suspiciously named new user account and some IP vandalism. Heiro 23:40, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
