Pop culture sections

[edit]

In regards to my removal of the "In popular culture" section of the Arby's article, I deleted it because it was trivia. If you look at the policy on trivia, WP:Trivia, you will see that sections containing unrelated or passing mention in other works is discouraged. Per the essay WP:Handling trivia, if the information is suitable for the article it should be incorporated into the body under the pertaining section. If the information is completely unrelated and does not contribute to the article in a productive manner it should be deleted.

I hope this explains why I deleted it. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 20:45, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Johnnyacid. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Cuerpo y Alma".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Cuerpo y Alma}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:38, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
