Speedy deletion of Smith john john smith[edit]

A tag has been placed on Smith john john smith requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. GtstrickyTalk or C 14:15, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributions[edit]

Wikipedia has minimum standards for inclusion and the content you have contributed so far does not meet them. I would also question how you can consider a page that appears to be mostly a personal attack useful to an encyclopaedia. If you would like to continue editing Wikipedia in a constructive manner I think you might find the following pages to be helpful:

Please try to make sure any content you add can be attributed to reliable sources and is presented from a neutral point of view. Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:Business' FAQ and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here.

Request reason:

this was just some stupid stuff by my son i am not a woodworking expert i am a computed graphics artist and he thought it would be funny and i know what he did was wrong and i don't work for john smith and co it not an organization i know its just my nickname

Decline reason:

Explanation is of little worth, as the user name is in violation of policy and the entirety of the account's mainspace contributions have been vandalism. — Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 15:50, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
