Proposed page deletion[edit]

Hi Jojo. You'll note I placed a pending deletion notice on your page Jojo Capece, (Marie Josette Capece Minutolo), born September 3, 1941 in New York City is an author, sculptor and painter. That's not an immediate delete, but a time delayed warning for any page about a living person that's lacking references. The bigger issue is that Wikipedia strongly discourages people from creating autobiographies or using the site as a promotional tool, as you state her you plan to do by creating a page about yourself. Please see WP:AUTOBIO, WP:PROMOTION, and WP:COI for more on this. As a multi-published author, you likely meet Wikipedia's guidelines to have a page but the page will need reliable 3rd party sources (see WP:RS) and a complete re-write to be able to stay. Adding references will help, but after that you should probably stay hands-off and let other editors use the page. If an admin removes the page, as per WP:AUTOBIO it would be best not to recreate it, as your work gains notice someone else is likely to do it for you. I hope this helps, if you have questions you can visit my talk page or go to the Teahouse for more help. JamesG5 (talk) 07:51, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Jojo Capece[edit]

The article Jojo Capece has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is essentially an unreferenced BLP. All the "sources" only go to places where the subject was "seen." None of the details of the biography are backed up and the subject isn't generally notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
