Welcome![edit]

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Joomple! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Nuclear shelter links[edit]

The website you linked to is a commercial product and isn't notable or relevant to the wider discussions; what you've done essentially violates our anti-commercial-spam policy.

I have taken it back out of the articles. Please review the policy above and avoid spamming links like that in the future. Good external references are critical and necessary, but most commercial product websites aren't a reference, they're an advertisement of some sort. Please keep that in mind.

Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 02:31, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2011[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Orlady (talk) 20:31, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May 2011[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. May 2014[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 19:23, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
