I gave you further context of the reasons for the edits. The owner of the Daily has died. I was in the accounting department and responsible for compliance. There is an unverified defamatory statement that hurts my prospect for employment. Unless you can find an independent reliable source that verifies that we were not professional and defied tax laws, please remove such a statement. No reliable source would say that about us.
