A tag has been placed on PatientZ: Survivalist, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Why PatientZ: Survivalist was deleted

[edit]

Good morning! I'm one of 1305 Wikipedia volunteer admins, members of the community that have a few special powers on the wiki beyond the average user. I'm independent of the Wikimedia Foundation, and speaking on my own behalf.

I saw that you were tweeting to Wikipedia, the actual organization, so I thought that I might step in and help tell you exactly why the page was deleted.

The admins that deleted your pages varied between the fact it read to advertising-like originally, using phrases like "where every moment counts", "Gear up fast otherwise you may not survive", "who knows if one may happen?" Wikipedia writing style is ultimately often dry, but on purpose, as we're all about the facts.

The last deletion was about notability. While it may seem like everyone and everything else has a Wikipedia article, those people, places, and things are deemed notable, because there's at least a few articles about the topic (see the details of this here). Try to get the video game media excited about your game and/or your company, and you'll help your chances of qualifying for an article here. Part of the reason we require independent coverage is to make sure that, should wrong info be inserted by a vandal on Wikipedia, we know as much, and our editors can remove it. When Wikipedia contributors aren't paying attention to an article, this like the Wikipedia Seigenthaler biography incident can happen. We'd prefer a controllable number of articles that's right, than a larger pool of articles that we can only hope are correct.

Best of luck with your game, it looks interesting from your Facebook page! Hopefully the release will be successful enough that your fans will be inspired to create an article about their new fav game! -- Zanimum (talk) 11:23, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
