Baseball Spoken article[edit]

Nice job with that Spoken Article on Baseball, I can clearly see it's your first one.

Is it okay if I can give you some Spoken article requests, because I have a few requests. Clay2004 (talk) 15:15, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure can! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 15:20, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great, because here are two suggestions.
These include the SpongeBob episode SpongeBob's Last Stand, and the video game, Jetpac. Clay2004 (talk) 15:24, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I can get those done a lot quicker than Baseball haha. I can take those on, I'll try to get to them this weekend. M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 15:25, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As is Jetpac M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 21:14, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Spongebob is uploaded and placed. M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 20:29, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll add them to the list of Spoken articles. Clay2004 (talk) 22:02, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Clay2004 You bet! Thanks for the recs. Let me know if there are more you'd like me to record. M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 06:07, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I do have three more ideas.
The first one is Star Wars related, as today is May 4th, sometimes known as Star Wars Day, and that is the character, Jabba the Hutt, the second one is Eggs as food, and the final one is actually more of a list but is Nintendo mobile games. Clay2004 (talk) 11:34, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think for the time being I want to focus my efforts on GAs and FAs with spoken articles just because those will hopefully be static longer and the recordings therefore more accurate for a longer period of time. M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 01:42, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I understand.
How about the FAs, The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson, The Battle of Alexander at Issus, and Magnavox Odyssey, and the GAs Conker's Bad Fur Day and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Clay2004 (talk) 10:48, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'll see what I can do! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 13:36, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, M4V3R1CK32.
I just want to know how you are doing with those spoken articles. No need to rush or anything. Clay2004 (talk) 18:51, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All I can say is I will get to them when I can. Life is happening off wiki and I have a few other projects that require my attention as well. M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 14:02, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again for your help with improving article quality[edit]

Thanks again so much for taking the initiative and running with it, after my research project and expansion of the article Ed Bradley. I've recently done some additional research and expansion on the article Channing Robertson. [1]. Do you think it is good enough yet to be "good"? Thanks again, Princessa Unicorn (talk) 01:42, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a handful of comments on the Talk page. Overall it's in really good shape! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 00:40, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've got no objections to your suggested wording that you proposed on the talk page for that one bit you had removed, so I used your wording. I'm doing another research project at the moment that is taking up some of my time. I'll come back to look at your other recommendations, point by point. Thanks very much! Princessa Unicorn (talk) 17:33, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 13:59, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

SW[edit]

HI M4V3R1CK32, mind doing a spoken Wikipedia recording for the Aston Martin DB9 article? We don't have any Spoken WP automotive FAs and it would be nice to have one. Do not feel obligated at all to. 750h+ 11:31, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@750h+: I can certainly add it to the docket! Not sure when I will get to it. Time to record, in particular, is limited right now. M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 01:53, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Much thanks M4V3R1CK32! take all the time you need 750h+ 01:55, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ed Bradley at TFA[edit]

Hi, this was promoted in May. Is July a good time for a TFA appearance? How about July 5? - Dank (push to talk) 15:58, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think that would be as good a time as any! I'll start thinking about a blurb, post something in TFA requests. Cheers M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 16:40, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes please. But I'll be shutting down the July TFARs as I schedule ... if people don't make a request, the usual place for all blurbs is the talk page of the FAC nomination. - Dank (push to talk) 17:50, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dank: I've created the TFA submission, let me know if you need anything else from me! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 20:08, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, now at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/July 5, 2024. - Dank (push to talk) 21:06, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, both, this is so wonderful! Princessa Unicorn (talk) 02:13, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you today for the article "about American journalist Ed Bradley, a prominent Black journalist in the latter half of the 20th and early 21st Century"! Enjoy your first TFA day! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:07, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 15:15, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
