- I was repairing a link from series that went to a disambiguation page, changing it to go to the proper series (mathematics). I'm glad to see that the page has now been updated with the correct term; I had not considered that series was the wrong term altogether.--Josilot 01:32, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

In regards to the message you sent me: Thank you for the suggestions. I appreciate you helping. I put thios page together too fast, I know, and I should have planned it out better. But its too late to go back now. I would appreciate your help in achieving these goals you set out on my talk page; all of those things and maybe more should be considered. Respond to this message to let me know how we can do this thing, :-). P.S. I received a message from a SimonP which stated that I cannot use the votingtemplates thing I made at the top of the page. Apparently, consensus has it that this debate was made before and any use of a voting template of this sort is prohibited. Reverting vandalism[edit]
I saw in your edit summary that you reverted a link to Leon Lett on the Lindsey Jacobellis article as vandalism. I don't see that link as vandalism and is misleading to others who look at the edit history. Please don't misuse "vandalism" in edit summaries when it does not apply. It is very much frowned on here. Jacobellis has been compared to Lett in various media sources and therefore comparisons should not be considered vandalism. Please take a look at Wikipedia's policy on vandalism to become more familiar. Thank you --† Ðy§ep§ion † Speak your mind 01:27, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
In the link that I sent you, please also read the second article about good faith. The reason why I brought this to your attention is that quickly labeling something as "vandalism" may confuse other editors especially those who work hard in reverting vandalism such as those in the the Recent Changes Patrol and Wikipedia's Counter Vandalism Unit. Also it may discourage users who are incorrectly labeled as vandals from editing further.
As for your question: "And really, why stop there? Why not throw a picture of Leon Lett up on Jacobellis's page for no reason? Would that be considered vandalism?" If one were to put a picture of Lett there, you can take the picture down and start a discussion on the talk page. Some people don't use edit summaries and its best to illicit a response. People disagree about what should be placed on an article all the time. This often leads to disruptive edits wars, but rarely if ever is labeled vandalism.
