Hi Cassiopeia - I'm a volunteer at Skate Australia, apologies if I have edited incorrectly. My updated information is accurate and I believed that the edits they were quite constructive. Some of the existing information on the page is inaccurate and the strategic plan referenced is many years out of date and no longer exists. Is there something else I can do to update the page correctly? The only source would be the Skate Australia website www.skateaustralia.org.au Thank you! Joskates
Hi Joskates, Good day. As mentioned on my previous message, sources need to be independent and reliable, Skate Asutralia is considered not independent source as the sources is from the subject itself. Secondly, since you work (volunteer) for Skate Australia, then you have a conflict of insterest for such you can WP:Request edit by other editor if you can provide the independent, reliable sources on the article talk page and if any uninvolved interested editor read it, and willing to help then they will add the info and source into the article. Lastly, you need to ping the editor (in this case I) when you send a message to them in any talk page except their talk page so they would receive a notification of your message. I know you wrote to me because your talk page is on my watch list. (Helpme tag is to ask a question and an experienced editor would answer your question).
