Welcome!

July 2007

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Bobby pickett. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Justin Langer

[edit]

Nice work on the Justin Langer article, it looks really good. Keep it up. Twenty Years 14:41, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto. Image added as per your command sire. Your obedient servant —Moondyne 05:16, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's right, bow down! No, but thanks for doing that. Can't say that I would have chosen that particular picture of him getting bowled (grrr) but a pic's a pic.

Archiving

[edit]

Hey, i noticed that you deleted the welcome from your user talk page. Typically, in wikipedia we use archives, so that when a discussion is no longer active, you move it from your talk page to your archive. An example archive would be: User:Journo:In:Making/Archive1. It is very much worth considering for someone like yourself. If you need help dont hesistate to ask me. I am usually around Wikiproject Western Australia. Cheers. Umaga

[edit]

I assume you're talking about this.

That edit was, all together, not helpful to the article.

  • You created an unneeded subsection
    • The rest of the article is in years, not events
  • It's unsourced, as you said.
  • It's full of week by week breakdowns of non notable events
    • Who cares if he attacked Marella, how is that important to Umaga?
    • How is the Cena match/DQ important?
  • At the end it randomly talks about the future. Not only does it mention that he has no SummerSlam match for seemingly no reason (he has no Cyber Sunday match planned either) but then it talks about the canceled Jackass match. The Jackass match hasn't been mentioned once in the article, you can't just say it's been canceled and expect people to know what you're talking about.
  • Finally when you edited it, you did so by sticking your text in front of an existing reference. That made it appear that that reference was to your statement, which it wasn't.

I hope that helped. After rereading it it came off much more dickish than I intended, but I just wanted to make sure everything was as clear as it could be.«»bd(talk stalk) 02:24, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Alter Bridge

[edit]

Yeah man, definitely an AB fan. This is gonna be short because I have to leave, but the page you want for the boxes is Wikipedia:Userboxes. They are awesome :) Let me know if you need any help. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bretticus2002 (talkcontribs) 15:18:01, August 19, 2007 (UTC).

Rumors

[edit]

The website you refrenced is NOT NOTABLE. Kedrick & London are not the Tag Team Champions, yet. These are rumors and speculations. Please Read WP:CRYSTAL. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Thank You. -- KBW1 00:12, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Weather it will happen, or not, it didn't happen. Pro Wrestling news sites reveil spoilers, (most of the time their fake), all the time. When/If it does happen I see no reason why we shouldn't add it. But for now it stays out. Also, WP:CRYSTAL is a guidline that states specualtion should and will not be added. Repeated offenses do cause it getting block. Just thought you might read it, cause it will help in your better decision making. Thank You. -- KBW1 06:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contact

[edit]

I guess we are not supposed to contact people we discover on Wikipedia, but I would like to find out at least what grade you are in at Atherton High. I didn't realise there were other literate people in the school! JacobStraatemier 01:48, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
