Merrimack Valley Conference[edit]

I read in the edit summary you provided for the creation of this article that it was starter information for others to expand. however, I wonder if you might consider re-visiting it and just giving it a little TLC. What it really needs is a few citations. Even with just a list of relatively good websites, the article is far less likely to be slapped with a deletion tag and it makes it much easier to improve upon later, especially where the alter editor doesn't have a knowledge of the subject. If I can be of assistance, please drop me a line on my talk page- I'll be happy to work with you on this, but I need something to work from! Billerica[edit]

I reverted your edit about sections of Billerica. In the past, we've had people just try to invent what they thought was a "neighborhood" so I set the list by what the road atlases say. It might not be what a resident of the town may think, but it's verifiable (as information on wikipedia must be) and discrete. Proposed deletion of Merrimack Valley Conference[edit]

The article Merrimack Valley Conference has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

High school sports leagues are rarely notable and this does not seem to be an exception. Subject matter fails WP:GNG and any other notability measure I can find. References appear to be local in nature and/or not third party and have no measure to establish notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
