Respose to AfD nomination of Power Analytics[edit]

Thanks for inviting the discussion. Please take a look at the technical article at the bottom of the Power Analytics page. It describes why government, energy producers, and corporations all feel that this is a crucial technology in protecting against outages like the Northeast Blackout of 2003 and preserving the environmental-friendliness of massive energy-consuming facilities. Important stuff; please take a look and let me know what you think. JrneumannJrneumann 16:22, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do NOT repost deleted articles without first going through the appropriate review process. Rklawton (talk) 17:51, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Power Systems Engineering, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ali Nasle[edit]

Your article about Ali Nasle has many statements which purport to assert his notability, but have no source citations to let editors verify those claims. The links you provided are simply generic links to the home pages of various organizations, and are therefore not valid. Please provide specific links to material that verifies Mr. Nasle's status. If you cannot, your article will likely be deleted due to lack of verification. Please let me know if you need help. Realkyhick 17:22, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note; this was a WIP, and knowlingly incomplete. Third-party verification of awards added where possible; some date back into the 1970s and 1980s, pre-WWW, so further verification is difficult fir organizations with historical records on the site. Thanks for the offer of help; I think we're covered.Jrneumann 21:13, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Jneumann[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Cpclogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cpclogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:04, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Notability of James Belasco[edit]

A tag has been placed on James Belasco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bearian 18:52, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was nominated for speedy deletion by another editor, and I deleted it. Not because of any personal opinions, but due to Wikipedia policies and guidelines. See WP:BIO: it lacked sufficient sources saying why he was notable. нмŵוτнτ 22:16, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
