I'm not sure what you were trying to do here but please do not move pages that start with template: then paste articles over them. On Wikipedia there is a template namespace where certain coding is transcluded on many pages in the article space (mainspace). By moving a page in the template namespace you caused the code "#REDIRECT [[Peter Boyd]]" to appear on all the pages that used Template:Trinidad-bio-stub. You replaced the code (which was here) that marked short articles relating to Trinidad and Tobago people with an article after you moved it. Trinidad-bio-stub should be in the template namespace (should not be an article in an encyclopedia) and Trinidad and Tobago People stubs should be in the category space, written in the format Category:Trinidad and Tobago people stubs. I hope this makes sense to you. Thanks. Tim Q. Wells 08:59, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Inserting (here) that someone "unfortunately" renounced their clerical views is not acceptable; please see WP:NPOV. Thanks. --Schcamboaon scéal? 16:09, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right. Please explain to me what you think unfortunate means. I'm very interested because it seems my conventional understanding of the term just ain't the same as yours. --Schcamboaon scéal? 18:26, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Minor Edits

[edit]

Please stop marking your edits that change content as "Minor". Help:Minor_edit provides guidelines on its usage which generally involve fixes to spelling and grammar that don't modify the article's direction. rasadam (talk) 18:41, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:57, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits, in which you indicate your belief that Brother Michael Samuel's renunciation of his vows is "unfortunate", are not considered acceptable at Wikipedia. Because presumably Brother Michael is still alive, any information that may be considered controversial must be sourced to a reliable reference source that is independent of both the subject and the editor, is considered to be impartial, and is respected, in accordance with our policy on biographical information relating to living people. While I do not doubt your belief that Brother Michael's decision is unfortunate, your opinion on this matter is not sufficient. If, for example, a local newspaper had published this information, specifically referring to Brother Michael's decision as "unfortunate" (and using that exact wording), you would be able to demonstrate that it was the position put forth by a reliable source.

I hope that this assists you in understanding why your edits are being reverted. If you would like further information on requirements for including information into Wikipedia, please ask on the talk page of the article involved, or you can go to our editor assistance page.
