Speedy deletion of "Gram Bharati Samiti"[edit]

A page you created, Gram Bharati Samiti, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for companies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

New charity pages[edit]

Dear Js619, I appreciate your effort in trying to create some new pages on charities. Some of them such as the Karen Hilltribes Trust are probably overdue. However for any of them to survive for long on WIkipedia you need to establish "Notability" which roughly means some proper non advertising coverage of the charity concerned. Otherwise I fear the articles will not last long. Shout if you want some help. I assume you are a student at Cambridge from your editing pattern. I assume you know there is a fairly big international development charity at 59 St Andrew's St? --BozMo talk 14:37, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SOS Children's Villages UK or [www.soschildren.org] is based on St Andrew's St. Internationally SOS would be the second biggest children's charity to UNICEF but the UK bit is fairly quiet. On notability it takes a little work. Both are important bodies with lots of links to other important organisations and prominent members. I am sure there will be press coverage if we can find it. --BozMo talk 21:43, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Cambridge University International Development (logo).jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
