October 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Frank Wilder. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Ways to improve Frank Wilder[edit]

Hi, I'm Jbhunley. Jshulz109, thanks for creating Frank Wilder!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please consider returning to the article to address this.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. JbhTalk 04:34, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have to say I find this article very hard to trust. If Mr. Wilder is indeed a billionaire, why can I find no sources about him in this role? I have to be honest that I strongly suspect that some or most of this article is a hoax, and I challenge you to prove me wrong. Blythwood (talk) 15:55, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Frank Wilder[edit]

The article Frank Wilder has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Well. I can indeed find some brief references to Mr. Wilder being a jewellery designer, but claims that he is really a billionaire Silicon Valley investor are nowhere to be seen in these sources. I believe some or all of this article to be false, but I'm putting a PROD tag rather than a CSD tag on in case someone can prove me wrong.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Frank Wilder. Please make your case on the page's talk page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Adam9007 (talk) 23:01, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
