Batman[edit]

Hi, Jtmatbat, and I appreciate your asking. I, too, have heard the term "the Darknight Detective," though I can't say where. I think including it would be just fine. All that's needed is a proper, reliable-source citation from, preferably, a book or a magazine article. (A single mention in a comic really isn't enough to establish it as regular nickname.)

You do bring up another point, though: The material that's already there isn't footnoted, and needs to be. It seems to have been entered under the assumption of "common knowledge," and we can't do that — it's considered original research or non-cited POV. So I'll make a note to that effect on the Batman talk page, and bring up "Darknight Detective" as well.

That's Wikipedia for you -- cut off an arm and two more shall take its place!  : )  --Tenebrae (talk) 21:07, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Of course. Glad to help. And do join the discussion I've started at Talk:Batman, to share whatever source you can find or just give your thoughts on this topic, which I'm very glad you've opened up. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:38, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of Batman Beyond characters[edit]

Hi, I just wondering, can you help clean up on List of Batman Beyond characters, of the sections "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" and "Comics books"? Sorry, never were confidant with my grammars.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 07:44, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll see what I can do for you within the next couple of weeks, NeoBatfeak.jtmatbat (talk) 03:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grandmajohnnym (talkcontribs) [reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Ss. Cyril and Methodius School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to meet notability guidelines. There are several schools by this name but I'm unable to find any significant coverage of the one in New York.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Moriwen (talk) 17:18, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
