Rehabilitation_neuropsychology[edit]

I am also new to this and must have done something incorrectly regarding the modification to Gerry Leisman and the F. R. Carrick Institute It was not my intention to mess with someone else's additions. I had sent an email on the topic as well. I am also not sure if I am in the right place right now either. Please advise. ````

SJ[edit]

I'm new to this and i'm finding it really difficult to use, i desperately require putting our magazines on the site as some have been in previous times however they keep getting rejected due to advertising and i'm not even sure if this is the correct page to be puttign this message on...but after visiting what feels like hundreds opf pages around the wikipedia site i have resorted to this....please help

CSUNA[edit]

I don't mean to do this incorrectly by the way, but I feel my page was deleted for no reason...can it be put back on?

Tearjerker[edit]

You deleted my interpretation of the song's lyrics. Although I can see why you might think that I simply copied them off a lyrics website, this was not the case; I actually sat down and listened to the song and wrote down what I thought the lyrics were. This is clearly not a copyright violation and therefore should not merit deletion of my contribution. Alex 09:01, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT: Okay, fair enough. To tell the truth, I was on the fence a bit while I was posting about whether I was correctly following Wikipedia rules (a reference to a lyrics website would probably have been a better choice). Thanks for clearing that up for me. Alex 09:07, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Duct Tape VVallet[edit]

Why did you delete the duct tape wallet article. I was still adding things. If you thought it was bad, why were you too lazy to make it better. Please reply on my talk page. eskimospy

FlexSnap Discussion[edit]

I was in process of actually adding the criteria for the article when it was deleted. If necessary, I can create a stub until it is completed, but this was not an attempt at breaking guidelines. Please advise Dedmond29

Why did you erase my work on the episode summaries!!? Why!!!?

Kid Sonic

I saw your comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Quran and science, and to me, it is antithethical to the teachings of the Baha'i Faith. Baha'u'llah constantly praises Muhammad and Islam and Shoghi Effendi wrote that the "The mission of the American Bahá'ís is, no doubt to eventually establish the truth of Islam in the West. The spirit of Islam, no doubt, was the living germ of modern Civilization; which derived its impetus from the Islamic culture in the Middle ages, a culture that was the fruit of the Faith of Muhammad." That the Baha'is believe that Muslims have missed the coming of the Mahdi and Jesus, and that the Baha'is have suffered in some majority Islamic countries does not invalidate the truth of Islam. Regards -- Jeff3000 05:07, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know it's difficult, and I struggle with it constantly. My parents had to leave their country of origin with nothing, and they will never have the chance to live there again. At the same time we have to seperate the actions of those who confess to follow Islam, with those of Islam. And at the same time, we have to "Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship." We don't have to agree with their actions, but we have to uphold our very high standards. Regards, -- Jeff3000 05:40, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Altought I do understand the weak delete suggestion, let me remind you that the interviews were conducted in English and then translated into Spanish. We can send you issues of the magazine to sustain our credibility, starting from publishing dates to some of the filmmakers interviewed. You can also check director Albert Pyun - who gave us a interview - own website (http://www.filmwerks.com/la_cosa.htm), were some PDFs of the magazine has been posted. Thanks. List of 20st century mexican composers

From Manroit to Danny[edit]

Thank you for your message (the one here below), I am new to wikipedia, but I certainly did not used any copy righted material, may be I tried to do the page twice as I am new and something went wrong.

I did both the pages "List of 20th century mexican composers" and "Manuel Rocha Iturbide" but for some reason, the second one was canceled or something.

Thank you any way for the message and best

Manroit

PD. I do not know how can you answer to this message? do I have to leave my email? info@artesonoro.net if its necessary

I believe the page you just created is also at List of 20th century mexican composers. --Midnightcomm 05:06, 8 October 2006 (UTC) [edit] Manuel Rocha Iturbide

Being Banned from WikiMoon[edit]

Rick can you help me? I was on WikiMoon for only a week and I've been banned! Can you try to talk to the people there for me? Thank you! Neptunekh 07:35, 9 October 2006 (UTC) Rick I don't think DEnelson wants to help me. Could you talk to 210 and ask him to talk the administrators and I'll do whatever they say. Please can you be a friend? Neptunekh 20:09, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rick here's what happened: I was always debating with Kerochan. She was deleting external links whenever I put them there because there is a project called WikiMoon web coming. And I thought I was causing to much trouble so I asked people wheather I should leave or not. But they said I was being immature and over dramatic. And whenever anyone said anything negitave about me, I would delete it. So a user named WikiSysop blocked off my e-mail. The only user who whoever helped me was 210. Could you please help me? Article for deletion: Tyloon[edit]

Danny, I understand the cause for all your concerns about the Tyloon article. By the way my name is Tiffany and I am from Tyloon.com. Please excuse any miscommunications or misjudgements in the Tyloon article. I am new to wikipedia and I could really use all the advice I can get. I want to create an objective article about my company and its importance but we all see where the conflict of interest lies. Please accept my apologies for any unintentional promotions of my company in the article. Please do not delete the article instead let me know how I can correct it to pertain to the site's regulation which I am reviewing carefully. Street Fighter Characters height & weight[edit]

Could you please add the height and weight of several Street Fighter characters again? Thanks.

Michiru Kaioh[edit]

Unhelpful? Well, I can understand people feel "protective" of the stuff they wrote here but what I put in the Attack section and Transformation section is legit and something that a true fan would appriciate, if I've stepped on some kind of "members only" ground, then I shall leave you be.

Danny Phantom discussion[edit]

Hello. You recently participated in a discussion on the possible deletion or merger of some Danny Phantom characters. While all the articles were kept, I noted that many of those commenting on the debate suggested merging some characters into a main list. Seeing this, I've compiled a list of some of the minor characters who may not need their own article, and would like the opinions of those who weighed in originally. You can participate in the discussion here. Ral315 (talk) 18:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Balrog[edit]

Mike Bison "Balrog" is my favourite figher in the Street Fighter series and his height and weight never change in all SF versions. He is 198 cm tall and he weights 102 kg. Please add his height and his weight to his infobox, thanks.

Balrog[edit]

Have you seen the Street Fighter movies? Balrog looked like a 210cm tall giant. I think that 198cm is an underestimated height for Balrog.

This article has now been rewritten, so you might or might not want to revise your earlier comment. ~ trialsanderrors 06:53, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Startthefire.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Startthefire.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. About Street Fighter "vandalism"[edit]

I never vandalise pages. I was adding information I felt was correct. I'm sorry you felt it was vandalism. Isn't there something on Wikipedia about "assuming good faith"? There is no proof that "Mike" and "M.Bison" are separate characters. Those statements weren't sourced, so I edited the article to reflect that. I would never consciously vandalise articles, and I am disappointed that you would think that. Brittany Ka 23:50, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Improved AFD discussion[edit]

I've persuaded the proponents of the article to cite sources to support their arguments that the WP:WEB criteria are satisfied. Please revisit the discussion, read what is cited, and add your comments on how far they go towards satisfying WP:WEB. Uncle G 08:32, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fei Long "vandalism"[edit]

As a Jeet Kune Do practicioner myself, I should know that Fei Long's moves are clearly Jeet Kune Do-inspired. The mere fact that he's a Bruce Lee pastich proves it. Just because Capcom labeled his style as "Hitenryu" doesn't mean anything. Hitenryu doesn't exist. Forrest Law and Marshall Law from Tekken both use a style called "Martial arts", yet it's clearly Jeet Kune Do they use. Just because it doesn't agree with your opinion doesn't make it vandalism. November Esperanza Newsletter[edit]

Program Feature: Admin Coaching (needs coaches!)
Admin Coaching needs coaches!!! If you are an administrator, or even a generally experienced user, do consider signing up to be a coach.

Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.

What's New?
The Tutorial Drive is a new Esperanza program! In an effort to make complicated processes on Wikipedia easier for everyone, Esperanza working to create and compile a list of tutorials about processes here on Wikipedia. Consider writing one!
A discussion on how Esperanza relates to the encyclopedia has been started; please add your thoughts.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  • The list of proposed programs has been updated, with some proposals being archived.
  • There is now a new program: the Tutorial Drive! Consider writing a tutorial on something you are good at doing on Wikipedia.
  • The suggestion of adding a cohesive look to all the Esperanza pages is being considered; join the discussion if you are interested!
  • In order to make a useful interlanguage welcome template, those involved in translation projects will be asked what English Wikipedia policies are most important and confusing to editors coming from other language Wikipedias.
  • A discussion of Esperanza's role in Wikipedia is being held, with all thoughts of all Esperanzians wanted!
  • Shreshth91 informed everyone that he will be leaving the Esperanza council as life is rather busy; his spot will be filled by the runner up from the last election, HighwayCello.
Signed...
Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

Actually, you added it yesterday. :) So I don't know what's going on there, but I didn't want to remove it the rest of the way without being sure. Anyway, thanks for clearing it the rest of the way out. ^^ --Masamage 23:07, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suuuure you did. ;)
It's weird how many of those actors are totally uncredited, though. I'm baffled. Maybe we should start mentioning explicitly which characters' actors are unknown, so that it's easier to notice when bogus info pops up. --Masamage 23:21, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pacaman. I deleted the article because Danny had tagged it {{db-g4}} and given an edit summary of: already deleted by multiple AfDs. I agreed with this and felt that any youtube video is unlikely to be encyclopedic. You can of course taske the article to deletion review and perhaps we need to create Wikipedia:Notability criteria for YouTube videos!

Regarding Q and Twelve[edit]

I'm sorry to intrude upon you like this. I wish not to leave a bad impression or anything. I'm... just not sure if you've read it.

To recap... While I am not a major fan of SF (I'm mostly into Power Instinct), I still was rather saddened by the fact you have removed Q and Twelve's pages. I felt what you did was very unfair. No offense...

I do very well understand they are minor characters. But then, so is Makoto, and so is Remy. Neither of them have made ANY appearances in any other game but SFIII Third Strike (but I'm most likely wrong on all that. I don't do the most extensive research on all games...).

Q and Twelve, while yes, again, minor characters... they do have enough information on their backgrounds and origins to at least have their own pages. Q in particular is very enigmatic... the speculization of his origins are what make him Q. (Or maybe I'm wording this wrong... I suck at trying to provide a good argument).

I dunno if you'll consider me or my argument worth your time of responding to, or if you'll just delete it. My opinion and feelings are probably moot, and complete trash... But I'll try anyways... I've honestly got nothing to lose. I'm not challenging you or anything though. If you want it to stay that way, that's fine... there's honestly nothing I can do, and I don't want to cause trouble.

If you want to respond you can go ahead here or just say it in my own Discussion page in my user box or something... it's up to you. I apologize for this rant.

If I am banned for this wiki is very ill. In case you dind't get my post to you ( my inexperience) here it is again:

This was meant to go to killerchihuahua ( following a notice of deletion of my comment: your God my Satan; a koanoid ), but it seems I can't post to his page and although it is only a sketch I suppose it should be noted here. (Given the general level of theology in the USA and even here.): OK, I found it... Have you heard of Abraxis,, the Church of the Process, The Cathars, Bogomils, Arians, Gnostics, etc etc. If not you should. The comment was a shorthand but an extremely important one. Before the Catholics exterminated several millions of them, the above religions regarded Jehova as a flawed immination of the Creator who was beyond Immagination ( note the Jewish spelling of gd, who Name Should Not Be Spoken, lest we fallinto assuming we have knowlege of That Which Is Beyond KNowlege ) they regarded Jehova as Satan. Some, notably the Gnostics, saw Jesus as a correction of this flawed...Evil One, by the Unimaginable One. Even Aristotle speaks of this world as evil and a good death not a bad, but a rather good thing. For the rest it was best to die young, have no children and to despise the things of this world. I just didn't have time to put forward any diffinitive statement, but I thought I might stir the discussion I hopes other would elaborate. Your God, my satan. Look at last Christmas with all the fundementalist talk of it being a pagan/satanic rite as indeed they seem to regard kindless and 'love your neighbour', all but 144,000 are going to eternal damnation, Umberto Ecco's "In the Name of the Rose" with it's portrayal of a commn belief, that laughter is a sin, that we are here to suffer and praise Jehova, the Jewish commands to kill every living thing in the conquest of Palestine, to kill their own children ( not just Isaac ), their wives, and ..etc after disgusting etc. I have a book of Jewish 'Law' and it is absolutely amazing the things that one should be punished by death for even if you we Jewish, if one was a Goyem forget even the slightest idea of justice or moral symmetry, you would be considered less than a dog. Check out http://nobeliefs.com/. I won't take things as far as Jim does, but he makes a lot of serious points. Any discussion of god lacking observations of what I have mentioned here is parochial, pureile ( yes the average mental age in some countries is around 14 ), and potentially and actually extremely dangerous...viz the tens of millions who have died unhappy deaths at the hands of the Firm, believers.Wblakesx 00:31, 20 November 2006 (UTC)wblake

Actually the wikt:titular page's definition allows the meaning as well in the "Of, relating to, being, derived from, or having a title" part. They just don't explicitly specify it. --tjstrf talk 02:05, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you redirect Darryl Philbin to the main The Office page?[edit]

There was nothing wrong with it...

Danny Lilithborne is from California and likes to remove nonsense from WP pages

Very nice. The people sitting next to me are wondering why on earth I'm looking at my WP watchlist and laughing. Waitak 03:47, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since these are contested (granted, by the author/subject), I think it's probably best to send these to WP:AFD, where they will most likely be deleted. Grumble, this makes extra work for everyone, but on the other hand they have written books, so I don't see it as a speedy. Granted they seem to be run-of-the-mill WP:PROFs, but you never know, maybe someone will be like OMG Elizabeth Ewen she's a big shot or whatever. So I'll send them on their way if you don't object. Published ten books is A7? Tagged within a minute of creation? You should really know better after having been here so long. - crz crztalk 03:14, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article about Harriet Quimby is not nonsense. Her work is documented at http://www.centennialofflight.gov/essay/Explorers_Record_Setters_and_Daredevils/quimby/EX5.htm and elsewhere. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 02:45, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I posted a message at Talk:Harriet Quimby & the Revolution in the Sky. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 02:49, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sailor moon episode page[edit]

Why did you redirect "The Sparkling Silver Crystal! The Moon Princess Appears"? I'm trying to link the list of episodeds page to the individual episode pages. - Peregrinefisher 07:01, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I guess what I'm saying is that their page should not be named after their number, but after their name. - Peregrinefisher 07:02, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Theres been a big debate about how to name episode pages, and the choice is between "episodename (showname)", "episodename (showname episode)" and just "episodename". You can read about it here and here if you want. Anyways, the way the sailor moon episodes are named is not going to fit any of the standard ways. I'd like to bring their article names into line with wikipedia's guidlines. Is this OK? - Peregrinefisher 07:13, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Your deletion of my small contribution to Lilith[edit]

Okay, as per your request I have voiced my reasoning on the Lilith talk page rather than just re-add the content (in the same way you re-deleted it) again. Please continue the discussion there and explain why the Marvel version has less right to be discussed under the "Comic books" heading than the existing mentions of the DC versions. PacifistPrime

===Sailor Moon S Article===[edit]

I'm sorry, are you using a bot? I am doing recent changes patrol and my revert was reverted as I removed unnotable information from the article. The cat reference seemed rather unimportant. (later--> Thank you for fixing it, now.) Kopf1988 03:27, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dattebayo DID drop Naruto[edit]

Um... well i'm sure that my eyes are correct but dattebayo said they will drop Naruto could you please check the Page again http://yhbt.mine.nu/pr/14 um if I'm wrong sorry but I saw they said they picked up Pokemon Diamond&Pearl and dropped Naruto

this is what the page said:

Dattebayo to pick up Pokemon Diamond & Pearl - Naruto dropped* Dattebayo Fansubs LLC was proud to announce today that it has decided to officially pick up the currently in progress season of "Pokemon Diamond & Pearl".

Pokemon Diamond & Pearl is the newest installment of the overwhelmingly popular Pokemon series. This show once again stars Satoshi, a young Pokemon trainer attempting to make his mark on the world while continuing to fiercely train his Pokemon, and simultaneously battling the evils he encounters along the way.

Due to the enomity of this project, and the limited resources at the disposal of Dattebayo Fansubs LLC, it was decided that the best course of action was to drop* the show Naruto. Declining profit margins and recent increases in production costs have made the release of this product impossible to maintain.

We hope that fans will be understanding in this time of transition and will share in our excitement about this fabulous new presentation.

Quick FAQ

Q: Does "naruto dropped" mean you will stop subbing it? A: Yes. Q: Will you also drop "Bleach"? A: If enough people request, yes. Q: Since you are now subbing Pokemon DP and started at episode 9 will you be subbing episodes 1-8 A: Yes Q: Will you start so release naruto again when it resume the main story? A: No.

complaint[edit]

he was born in 1983 it is not incorrect information. I find this very rude. --Hammersmith123 11:27, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chun Li[edit]

What I wrote was not vandalism, nor nonsense. I saw the page and it said "a number of games released since that have placed a female character in the lead role.[citation needed]". I saw the Tomb Raider games with a female lead as citation that female character's roles have changed in video games. You didn't seriously think I meant Chun Li and Lara Croft are one and the same did you??

Street Fighter 2 V[edit]

How dare you revert the useful information I contributed regarding chun-li's appearance in street fighter 2 v. That was very useful and relevant information! I agree some material could of been removed, but certainly not all. Dont you want to article to be complete?

  • It's important to raise awareness on Chun-Li's other media appearances. Her role in the live action movie isnt event mentioned. A fan of Chun-Li could check up on this article and not know what else she has appeared in. A brief mention of street fighter 2 v is sufficient. The reader can then research that anime themselves.

The mediation thing[edit]

Did you get my email? --Masamage 01:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I appreciate that. --Masamage 02:39, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was AfD'd? There's no mention of that on the article talk page -- the logs showed that it was speedy-deleted, once, when it was just a short article. Anyway, it was speedied as a repost but its not a repost, so it should be OK. I'm not going to AfD it, but someone else might... in which case mentioning and pointing to the previous AfD discussions would be helpful to preventing this. Question[edit]

I am a reader on Wikipedia, and i journyed on to a Yu-Gi-Oh page mentioned on Janime.info forums Yu-Gi-Oh! GX media and release information, why are they changing the format and removing the images. I don't have the right to judge but does'nt the new format look a little bland? Accourding to Benten the person that did alot on the pages history claims that it is sockpuppet vandalism.... can't the page be protected like all of the other pages on Wikipedia when their is alot of vandalism? The page was so beautiful before. I don't even like Yu-Gi-Oh but when I see the images I know what Yu-Gi-Oh is about. So may you talk to Benten and etc.. to keep the images.

  • Dropping by to let you know about this too Danny. Clearly, you've already recognized the big improvement on the aesthetic quality of the media and release article by removing all the images (it also reduces the size of the article), but the main reason was to make it harder for all those sockpuppets of Bobabobabo to vandalize the page. Up until this point, various users now identified as sockpuppets have been just adding images to the page. Without them, the vandalism threat should be diminished, given that for some reason, the user finds it necessary to edit war with him/herself over the images. Ciao --Benten 20:13, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Potemkin (Guilty Gear)[edit]

I added what I thought might have been a musical reference to the section on musical references. You deleted it and gave me a vandalism warning on my page. I can understand if you disagree with it being a reference, as it would be a subtle one at best. Fine. The vandalism warning was excessive, though. It was a legitimate edit that, even if you disagree with it, was added to attempt to add legitimate content to a legitimate article. I do not vandalize, and, if you look at my user contributions, you may see that I have actually cleaned up and reverted vandalism on other articles on several occasions. Please take back that warning, as I do not wish to have a bad record started under false circumstances. --68.35.129.180 04:06, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you blank the page and put up a db-empty tag, when there already was a speedy tag (CSD:G1) on the page? --Lijnema 23:23, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but that blanking was reverted. Why go to the trouble to re-blank it? --Lijnema 23:27, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, just curious. :) --Lijnema 23:39, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

official/unofficial[edit]

Hey Danny, in regards to official or unofficial translations, these are only "official" for Baha'is, so it looks as Baha'i POV when "unofficial" translations are not accepted. So there is not much that can be done. Regards, -- Jeff3000 00:06, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
